Bel Horizon (vakantiehuis Knepper)




"Bel Horizon" is fully furnished and fully equipped, such as a gas stove/oven with rotisserie spit, a dishwasher, a washing machine and central heating (gas-fired).
Downstairs is a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Upstairs there is a 2nd toilet and there are 3 bedrooms with sleeping options with duvets for 6-7 people. There are cupboards in the rooms and on the landing there are 2 cupboards for guests and a second toilet. There are 6 lounge chairs outside and a movable slide for the children.
Around the house is a separated garden with a small swimming pool (operational from May to October) and with a beautiful view. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Also suitable for small children.

The spacious living room has a spacious seating area with TV with Dutch and Dutch-language channels and WIFI. The room has a large window on the side with the beautiful view. The room also has three double doors to the outside, a passage to the kitchen and a staircase to the top (stair gates are available).

The dining area has a table with pull-out leaves and 6 chairs. There are more chairs and two high chairs in the house. There is also a radio/CD player and a DVD player and various books, magazines and games.
There are also various guides and walking maps that can help you explore the area.

The cozy kitchen is fully equipped, such as a dishwasher, a gas stove with oven and rotisserie spit, a microwave with grill, a tall refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, a pressure cooker, a Senseo machine and a regular coffee maker and a work cupboard. The inventory of the various kitchen cabinets will not disappoint you. Plates, bowls, pans, cutlery, cups, glasses and kitchen utensils are widely available.

The bathroom has a double sink with cabinets and a large mirror. The spacious shower with thermostatic tap is protected by a curtain. The bathroom also contains the washing machine. There is also a standing drying rack that can also be placed outside.

The toilet on the ground floor is not part of the bathroom but separate.

A second toilet has been created upstairs. There are also 3 bedrooms with 4 beds:
Bedroom 1 has a double bed 140 x 200; Bedroom 2 has a double bed of 140 x 190; bedroom 3 has a double bed of 140 x 200 and a single bed of 90x190.
All beds have both thin and thick duvets. There are also both thick and thin pillows and extra blankets available.
You must bring your own bed linen. All beds have molton sheets that are changed after guests' departure
A children's camping bed you bring with you can be placed in room 1.
The rooms have storage space and a bedside table with lamp. There is a cupboard and a hanging/cupboard on the landing.

There is a garden around the house with a small swimming pool (operational from May to October). In the garden, which is separated by fences and mesh, there is a garden set. The terrace is equipped with an electrically operated awning. A movable slide is available for the children, which can also be placed near the pool.

"Bel Horizon" is easily accessible. It is a 20-minute drive from the A89.
In the nearby town of Courpière (7 km) there are many amenities such as a post office, an Intermaché, many other shops, an Office du Tourisme, and a municipal campsite with swimming pool and play facilities. The Lac d'Aubusson with a beach and all kinds of tourist facilities (pedal boats, horse riding) is 15 km away. There is also a go-kart track 15 km away. In good weather conditions you can go paragliding from the Puy de Dôme (approximately 80 km)

Weekly markets are held in various places in the area on different days of the week

We can recommend visiting several good restaurants in the area.

In the immediate vicinity there are several castles (both furnished and ruins) that can be visited.

Beautiful cities and towns in the area are:

- Vulcania, a large popular scientific amusement park about volcanoes in an old volcano;

 We, Peter and Margaret Knepper, who lives in Ede and (son) Markjan Knepper, residing in Rhoon, some years ago took the initiative to a holiday in France to look for their own use and to be able to rent. After a search on the Internet and many brokers we finally found this house with stunning views in the hamlet of Le Fau. We also regularly go to "Bel Horizon" especially out of season. Peter and Margreet more often as Markjan because Piet and his wife Meta and Margaret now retired. If we are in Le Fau every time we enjoy the beautiful views and the tranquility. We also try to establish and maintain contacts with local residents and drivers and make walks in the area together or organized participation. The spacious house in the hamlet of Le Fau in the town of St Flour l'Etang located in the Parc naturel régional du Livradois-Forez in Auvergne. (930 km from Utrecht).
The house is within easy reach (20 min from A72). Inter Mache and many other amenities in the town Courpière at 7 km. The city is located 22km Thier and Clermont Ferrand on 56km.Omdat this holiday both by ourselves is used as a guest we have with the device then also take into account both our own wishes as possible needs of our guests. "Bel Horizon" is therefore fully furnished and fully equipped including a gas stove / oven with rotisserie, dishwasher, washing machine and central heating (wood burning). Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with sleeping facilities for 5-7 people with duvets. The rooms have tables and on the landing a wardrobe for guests. For outside are 6 lounge chairs available for children and a movable glijbaan.We are constantly the quality of the housing to further increase.
Around the house is a secluded garden with a small pool and with stunning views over the beautiful valley of the Dore and the mountains of Du Forez. Ideal for tranquility. Also suitable for small children. Teens will, we think, to find quiet.
The spacious living room has a spacious lounge with TV with Dutch channels and a cozy fireplace. Since the renovation the room has a large window and a double door got on the side with the beautiful uitzicht.De dining area has a table and 6 chairs with retractable blades. In the house are more chairs and a highchair available. There is also a radio / CD player and there are several books, magazines and spelletjes.Ook there are several guides and maps that can help you to explore the area. The room has three doors to the outside, a passage to the kitchen and stairs. (Stair gates are available)
THE KITCHEN
The small cozy kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, cooker with oven and rotisserie, a geyser, a large fridge with small freezer, a kettle, a Senseo coffee machine and a just and a tool cabinet. The inventory of the various kitchen cabinets will not disappoint you. Plates, bowls, pans, cutlery, cups, glasses, utensils are largely aanwezig.Verder there for the geyser and the stove three cylinders which 1 reserve.

THE SHOWER
Provision is made for a double sink with cabinets underneath and a large mirror. The spacious shower is covered by a curtain. In the shower room is a washing machine. It is also an upright clothes drying rack that is present outside can be placed.

From the garden and the pool has a fantastic view of the mountains. There is also a barbecue, patio, shed, wood store and parking.
LIVRADOIS-FOREZ
East of the Massif Central is the Parc naturel régional du Livradois-Forez. In the middle flows the Dore. On the right bank of this lie the wooded with spruce forests Monts du Forez. On the left is le Livradois, formed by a succession of plateaus and granite tops of mountains to 1200 meters. It is an area of ??trees and herbs, traditions and skill, formed by the water.

WATER AS A SOURCE OF ENERGY

WALKING
