"LA DOUCE 69", A SUPER HOLIDAY HOME WITH ALL COMFORT LOCATED ON THE PARK "RÉSIDENCE CHÂTEAU CAZALÈRES"

​LA DOUCE 69 is located almost on the edge of the RÉSIDENCE . park   CHÂTEAU CAZALÈRES and yet close to the Château, the swimming pools and all facilities.

A lot of care has been taken with the house. As a result, the house received five stars from the rental committee at the park in 2019.
With 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and separate toilet, the detached house can accommodate 6 people.

LIVING ROOM
Rurally furnished, very spacious and equipped with an LED TV, luxury audio set with USB connection and bluetooth, DVD player and a comfortable sitting area with a view of the garden. The ceiling fan provides extra cooling in the summer.

OPEN KITCHEN
Here you will find all amenities: fridge with separate large freezer, microwave, electric oven, Senseo and regular coffee maker, snack oven, egg cooker, dishwasher and plenty of crockery and cutlery.
There is a washing machine in the storage room (free to use).

BATHROOM
A large walk-in shower (80x120) with thermostatic tap, modern washbasin, hair dryer and plenty of storage space. The separate toilet room is next to it and completely renovated in 2018.

BEDROOMS
Downstairs are 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom with double single beds (2x 90x200) and a bedroom with two single beds (90x200).
Upstairs is the third bedroom with two single beds (90x200). In the bedrooms you will find good firm beds, plenty of storage space, blackout blinds and mosquito nets on all windows.

OUTSIDE
The house has a spacious terrace with a roof, lounge set, garden table and chairs, sunbeds, two parasols (3m + 2m), electric table grill and an outside socket. In the beautifully landscaped garden you can relax, read a book or eat together at the large table.

The park RÉSIDENCE CHÂTEAU CAZALÈRES
The park has approximately 100 modern detached houses with a terrace, garden and a private parking space next to the house. All houses are privately owned and therefore have a different interior, ranging from basic to luxurious .
On the north side of the park is the château with the swimming pool complex (heated and with new paddling pool), 2 tennis courts, jeu-de-boules courts, a playground, mini golf and trampoline. In the château you will find a cozy restaurant with a spacious terrace and (pool) bar. There is a Dutch-speaking animation team for children in high season.
There is free WIFI in the park and in the house.

AREA
The village of DAUMAZAN-SUR-ARIZE in the south of France, 60 km. under TOULOUSE, in the Ariège (Midi-Pyrénées). This picturesque village is within walking distance of the park. You will find a good bakery/pastry shop, (award winning) butcher, supermarket, post office, bicycle repair shop/car workshop, newsagent (Telegraaf in high season), pizzeria, excellent restaurant, Belgian beer pub with regular live music on weekends, an old Romanesque church from the 12th century, etc...

In the immediate vicinity you can take beautiful walks, mountain biking, cycling, visit nice markets, discover picturesque villages and cities, enjoy the breathtaking nature. The Ariège is often called the "Tuscany of France".
The PYRENEES are a good hour's drive away, where you can ski until spring in AX-LES-THERMES or GUZET NEIGE and in the summer you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking.
Other trips that are very worthwhile:
TOULOUSE with its nice shopping streets (also IKEA), CANAL DU MIDI and AIRBUS factory, the walled medieval fortified town of CARCASSONNE, TARBES, LOURDES, the cave of MAS D'AZIL, PAMIERS, FOIX, ST. GIRONS (large market on Saturdays), MIREPOIX (regional market + medieval houses), the artists' village of CARLA BAYLE with panoramic views and (fishing) lake, the Cathar route, etc. The park is about an hour from the PYRENEES: a wonderful ski and walking area.
​TIP: You might be lucky and the TOUR de FRANCE will pass by. Every year there is a stage near our holiday home!

ACCESSIBILITY ,
The park RÉSIDENCE CHÂTEAU CAZALÈRES is located approx. 1100 KM FROM BREDA / THE BELGIAN BORDER. It can be reached in 1 day via motorways (low toll). You can also book a hotel/B&B overnight in the vicinity of Orleans or Limoges halfway through.
​The train will take you to Toulouse or Cazères. You can fly with RYANAIR to Carcassonne. EASYJET takes you from Amsterdam, Lille or Brussels to TOULOUSE for little money. You can rent a car at the airports.
