Inside
Marguerite's living room is located on the first floor near the terrace. There is plenty of seating space with two sofas and a leather armchair. With a television with Dutch and foreign channels and a cupboard full of Dutch reading books, magazines and games, you won't be bored. The patio doors offer a beautiful view of the terrace and the surroundings. Since 2024 there is fiber optic internet. Marguerite's open kitchen contains all the necessary equipment and a wide choice of cookbooks. A long dining table with eight chairs invites you to dine for a long time. Adjacent to the kitchen are two more bedrooms, both with box spring (90x200) and wardrobes. Beds are made on arrival. The bathroom on this floor contains a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. In the basement there is room for a spacious bedroom with 2 box springs (90x200). You will also find a wardrobe, desk and a private shower, sink and toilet room.
Outside
The beautiful swimming pool with 'Roman stairs' is located in front of the house and is no less than 5 x 11.5 meters. Next to the pool is the pool house with a spacious and comfortable lounge sofa, side tables and 2 sockets for wifi, music and/or fan. A wonderful place for the hot days. There is also a bicycle, which you can use. Handy to cycle to the village. You can charge an electric car in the village.
Environment
Marguerite is located on the border of the departments of Lot and Dordogne. With numerous tourist attractions within a radius of only 50km, this is the place to be! Think of the cozy Gourdon (9 km), 'un des Plus Beaux Villages de France'. You will also find the caves of Cougnac with beautiful prehistoric murals. Worth a visit is the Zadkine museum with many sculptures in Les Arques (10 km) and the medieval towns of Domme (20 km) and Sarlat (30 km), both in the Dordogne department. So there is no shortage of culture in this green environment! Prefer more sporting activities? Just 5 km away you will find Lake Cazals with a beach and a bar. You can also rent pedal boats there. Other activities nearby include tennis, hiking, cycling, canoeing and golf.
Important:
- A small dog is only allowed in the pre/after season after consultation.
- Charging an electric car is not allowed at the house. You can charge at the pharmacy or SuperU in the village down the road.
