Maisange

Maisange is a beautiful recently completely restored holiday home for up to 5 people (4 adults and 1 child). This house has a lovely large garden where you can play football or you can enjoy the beautiful private swimming pool. The terrace by the beautiful large pool is completely private and out of the wind, you have sun all day long! Parasols available.

Inside
The house consists of a living/dining room with a plasma TV (satellite), a home cinema, DVD player and wifi, kitchen with a stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and kettle. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with a double bed and on one bedroom there is a baby cot. There is a nice bathroom, toilet. The owners of this very well cared for holiday home (owners take care of the house with passion) will spoil you with vegetables from their own garden and all kinds of small attentions. Ideal house also for spring and autumn (or winter) because of the cozy fireplace (romantic evenings!) The house has recently been awarded 4 stars by the Tourisme du Lot office.

Environment
The house is located on the border of the Lot and the Dordogne and is located just outside the village of Rampoux. Interesting cities in the area are Gourdon (15 km), Sarlat (25 km) and Cahors the capital of the Lot at 25 km. From the garden you have a beautiful view of the rolling hilly landscape.

Activities
If you are sporty and enterprising, the Maisange area offers you many possibilities. There are good cycling and walking opportunities from the house, in addition there are many small picturesque and characteristic villages, castles and caves. It is also possible to go kayaking, canoeing, fishing or swimming in the Dordogne river. The beautiful city of Rocamadour is also well worth a visit, as are Sarlat and Cahors, all cities that are considered among the most beautiful in France. As far as nature trips are concerned, excursions to 'Gouffre de Padirac'  and the 'Parc régional naturel des Causses du Quercy' are highly recommended.  In the village of Lavercantière at 1.5 km there is a bar/tabac/restaurant, here is also a tennis court. At Cazals (8km) there is a recreational lake where you can swim and fish. In the villages of Cazals and Salviac (8 km) you will find all basic amenities, such as a small supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy, there are also some cafes and restaurants. For the large supermarkets you can go to Gourdon.
