Detached holiday home with private pool, tranquillity and stunning views
Our attractive, detached holiday home is located on a hill, just south of Cahors. There is a lot of private land around the house and from the house and garden you have a beautiful view over the valley. It is wonderfully quiet and very private here: a nice place to really relax and enjoy the French outdoors.
There are only two other houses in the area. Our French representative lives in one of them. He receives the guests, takes care of the key transfer, among other things, and can help with information or any problems. Cleaning is also arranged through him. This way you can enjoy peace and privacy, but there is always someone nearby if needed.
The house
The characteristic L-shaped house is built of the beautiful local stone (belles pierres) that is so characteristic of this region.
The house is comfortably furnished for 6 people and can accommodate up to 8 people. The house has air conditioning and heating via two heat pumps. In addition, solar panels have been installed.
The cozy living room has a large authentic fireplace (cheminée). The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an electric oven, 4-burner electric hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and airfryer.
There are 3 bedrooms:
-two bedrooms with double beds;
-one bedroom with two single beds.
There is extra sleeping space in the attic. This can be used in consultation when you stay with more than 6 people.
Bed linen and towels are included.
The house has 2 bathrooms, both with shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine.
Comfort
Air conditioning and heating are available in all rooms. There are traditional French shutters on the windows, so that the house can be kept nice and cool even on hot summer days.
There is a television with Dutch channels and a radio/CD player.
Private pool, space and tranquility
The private pool is for the exclusive use of our guests. The pool is maintained by our caretaker during the season.
Around the house is plenty of land and plenty of space to sit outside, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Due to the free location, the view over the valley and the large amount of space around the house, you will experience a lot of privacy and tranquility here.
Wheelchair accessible
The house is on one level and wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the attic floor. Because the house is built on a slope, there is a staircase to the ground floor at the rear. At the front, the house is accessible without these stairs.
