Villa Bede

At the beginning of 2019 we realized our dream and bought a house in Lot. Built in the Quercy style, on a hill in a small hamlet on the edge of Montgesty, in the middle of nature with beautiful views, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and the tranquility.

The main house was built from natural stone as early as 1765, and its more than 250 years of history can be felt everywhere. In order to offer our guests more comfort, we started renovation work in October of the same year after a short test phase of the rental in summer 2019.

As the country went into lockdown with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic and its associated recurring lockdowns and curfews, we really ramped up our renovation activities. The planning and construction became more and more extensive as the pandemic continued and in the meantime we turned the entire house upside down!

Villa Bédé now shines in new splendor with its old charm. It offers 4 double rooms, each with its own bathroom with shower and toilet, plus a spacious 'family room' of over 40 m², of course also with
private bathroom, shower and toilet. In addition, it offers a large living room with fireplace and a spacious kitchen. All this now results in a wonderful holiday home spread over two floors in total
approx. 220 m². A new central heating has been installed for the colder winter months.

From the house with the large covered terrace and veranda you have a wide view of the beautiful infinity pool, the garden and the valley. The house is rented per week from May to September to groups (up to a maximum of 12 people). We live in the adjacent barn, which has now been renovated
and renovated. While the main house with the terrace and swimming pool faces south, the terrace of the former barn faces north.
