🏡 Maison de Guillegorce – Spacious holiday home in the French countryside
Maison de Guillegorce is an attractive, fully renovated gîte in the quiet French countryside of La Sauvetat-du-Dropt. The former farm has been converted into three houses; We live in one part ourselves and the other part is furnished as a comfortable holiday home. Here you can enjoy peace, space and the authentic French outdoor life, with complete privacy.
The gîte with private swimming pool can accommodate 8 to 10 guests, with the possibility of up to 12 people thanks to a luxury mobile home on site (optional to rent). The property has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is ideal for families and groups.
✨ The rental price is all-in and includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels and tourist tax.

The surroundings of Maison de Guillegorce are dominated by peace, space and real French country life. From the gîte you will discover a varied landscape with quiet country roads, vineyards, forests and rolling hills. An ideal place for cycling, walking or just enjoying the silence.
🏘️ Villages, markets & night markets
One of the most beautiful ways to experience the region is through the local villages and their markets. Here you can taste the daily French life: fresh products, lively squares and long coffee moments on the terrace.
Eymet (10 min – Thursday) – lively bastide village with a large market and cozy cafes
Duras (Monday) – atmospheric market under the château
Issigeac (Sunday) – perhaps the most beautiful market in the region, through medieval streets
In summer, there are also night markets (marchés nocturnes): long tables in village squares, live music and stalls selling local food and wine. A fun way to end the day.

La Sauvetat-du-Dropt (Friday) – our own village market, within walking or short driving distance
Eymet (Tuesday) – lively with often live music
Monteton (Tuesday) – beautifully situated at sunset
Duras (Thursday) – atmospheric around the château
🚴 ♂️ Cycling, walking & outdoor living
Directly from the gîte you can make beautiful walking and cycling trips through a landscape of sunflower fields, orchards and small villages. Nearby are charming places such as Eymet, Duras and Allemans-du-Dropt with routes ranging from short to long.
🚣 Water & adventure
About 30 minutes' drive away is the Dordogne at Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh, where you can canoe or kayak along bridges, villages and green banks. Along the way, there are plenty of places to stop for a picnic or a swim.
For added adventure, there's a treetop adventure park in Sainte-Colombe-de-Duras with ziplines and forest courses.

We, Marcel and Niké and children Zara and Dean, live on the same property and are always available for questions or help. At the same time, we fully respect the privacy of our guests, so that you can enjoy your stay in peace.
Two small dogs, two cats and some chickens live on the property that roam freely. The cats do not belong in the gîte, but because they move freely around the property, it can occasionally happen that they curiously come in when doors are open.
