Hi, I'm Jonnie Leertouwer. My husband Paul and I have had a lovely house in Donnery since 2004, actually in the middle of the Donnery/Orléans golf course. Our detached house overlooks hole 10 and hole 13 and is a few minutes walk from the clubhouse. Enjoy golf, peace and space to the fullest. Yet Paris is just around the corner. In a radius of 1 hour by car there are many famous Loire castles to visit. We think Chambord is very worthwhile, also very accessible for children.

In the brief descriptions you already found something about the house and garden. A little more details may be interesting. The two bathrooms, two double bedrooms, kitchen and sitting room are all one level. Both bathrooms are equipped with shower, sink and toilet. One bathroom has a washer / dryer and a hard blow. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge with separate hold diepvriesvak.De third bedroom is located on the first floor and can be reached via a solid, hardwood staircase.

A beautiful 18 hole golf course, the first 9 holes are situated in beautiful old forests. The second 9 holes are situated in a beautiful hilly area with water. Hole 9 and 18 have a nice view of the castle and end at the cozy clubhouse. The terrace of the clubhouse is perfect for a cozy 19th hole while offering excellent lunch. Our house is only 3 minutes walk from the clubhouse and the exit of hole 1.

The Loire region is very famous for its castles, which were built centuries behind us by the various kings of France, either as a hunting lodge or retreat. Within a half hour you will reach by car including Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Chenonceau and many other examples of former architecture. An absolute must for those in the history of the French royal families are interested. Details of routes, opening hours, etc. in our house in information folders and beautifully illustrated books to find. Also in Orleans (Jeanne d'Arc), Chateauneuf sur Loire, Blois and Tours is much beauty from ancient times to discover.

Paris can be reached by train within an hour. Blois, Tours and Orléans are also well worth a visit.

The bungalow is located on the 18-hole park-forest golf course Golf d'Orléans-Donnery. From the garden you can see the exit of the 13th hole of the course. It is a 3-minute walk to the clubhouse and on this course it is possible to drink coffee or lunch after 9 holes and then play the next 9 holes.
However, it is also possible to have lunch at home or in the garden after 9 holes. Where you can immediately enter the 10th hole behind the house after the break.

The natural areas of the Sologne, the Loire and the many famous castles are in the immediate vicinity. There are also several tennis courts in the area and the municipality of Donnery has a local outdoor swimming pool where you can swim for a fee.

Wine lovers can indulge themselves in the famous wine regions of Sancerre, Pouilly and Beaune.

In the kitchen you will find an electric kettle, a Senseo and a Nespresso machine

Because our house is quite luxurious, we do not rent our house to parents with young children up to 10 years old. Not even to a group of young people. Dog lovers can bring a maximum of 1 dog in consultation.
