Cottage: Le Petit Verger
The completely new holiday home "Le Petit Verger" is located on the castle estate. Completely renovated and tastefully decorated, for 2 to 4 people (recommendation max 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults).

The original caretaker's house is located 75 meters from the historic castle and the heated swimming pool. Here you will find this cozy and comfortable Gite for 2 to 4 people.
Plenty of space, nature and tranquility around the gite. With a bit of luck you will see a deer along the edge of the forest while you are enjoying your holiday.
Your terrace is surrounded by a large lawn, our forest and the old orchard. With a magnificent view of the beautiful castle La Mothaye, where there are also four castle apartments and the managers / owners live.

The gite has a cozy living room with:
- sitting area around the wood stove
- air conditioning (ideal with hot summers)
- a spacious dining table
- high chair and baby cot (available free of charge upon request)
- TV and DVD set
- free WIFI

The kitchen is equipped with:
- a refrigerator with freezer
- microwave
- furnace
- dishwasher
- Of course, the kitchen is fully equipped with various pans, mixer, cutlery, plates, glasses, kettle, coffee and Nespresso machine, etc, etc.

Bedrooms:
- The master bedroom has a double bed (160x200) - 2 pers
- The children's bedroom has a sturdy and large bunk bed (90x200) - 2 pers
- The bedrooms and bathroom have mosquito nets

The terrace:
- luxury lounge set
- a dining table
- Gas barbeque is available
- Beach umbrella
- 35 ha of garden, forest and park around it :-)
- bicycle storage

Other facilities:
Our guests of the Gite can of course also use all the facilities that château La Mothaye has:
- the swimming pool
- playground with trampoline, playhouse and swings
- table tennis table (outside)
- the park and forest (35ha)
- On request you can use the (general) washing machine and dryer (for a fee). Please ask us if you have laundry.

Stores:
- Intermarche (supermarket) at 3 km
- bread machine in the village (baguette) - bakers with delicious fresh bread at 4km (or via our "fresh bread service" in high season).

Discover the castles, the wines, the Loire culture and relax on the estate by the swimming pool, in your own gite or on your lounge sofa on the terrace. All ingredients are present for a special stay.

Since 2011 we, Rochelle and Erik, are the proud owners of Château La Mothaye. We immediately fell for the peace and nature of the estate. We have completed this renovation and started as a B&B in 2012. Nowadays all accommodations have been converted into gites and castle apartments. Everything is completely self-catering. We have been permanently living in France since the beginning of 2014 with our three children. Welcome to our house, welcome to Chateau La Mothaye in the beautiful Loire Valley.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cancellation is limited, see our terms and conditions and below. Travel insurance is recommended. Deposit is required (150 euros per booking). The deposit is 25% of the total amount including the deposit. Electricity costs (according to consumption) are added (about 40 cents per kwh, most guests between 25 and 50 costs electricity, depends on the use of air conditioning and hot water).

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Changes can only be accepted in consultation with and after written permission from Chateau La Mothaye and may incur additional costs.

In case of cancellation, the following amounts will be charged:

in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before your arrival, the deposit will be forfeited to Chateau La Mothaye.
in case of cancellation from 8 weeks or less before the start of the rental period, the total stay or package price will be charged (all (down) payments already made will be forfeited to Chateau La Mothaye).
In case of early departure after the start of a reserved stay, the total stay or package price will be charged. No refunds will be made.
Any (partial) refund will be subject to deduction of any bank/transfer costs (if applicable) and 25 euros administration costs.

After receiving your reservation, we will send you a confirmation by email and ask you to pay a deposit of approximately 25% of the total amount including deposit (if applicable, with a minimum of one night per accommodation per period of stay) within one week. Your reservation is final as soon as we have received your deposit. We ask you to transfer the remaining amount at least 8 weeks before arrival.
