Casa Thau - plus boat

Located in the historic center of the authentic fishing village of Marseillan in the South of France, this cottage for 2 people offers everything you could wish for a wonderful holiday on the coast:

A cosy house with a semi-covered terrace and bbq to enjoy the sultry summer evenings with a glass of rosé.

The bakery, shops, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and also the best oysters of the region and especially the beautiful Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean Sea are nearby. You can use our sailboat in consultation (in high season) and spend an afternoon sailing along the oyster beds of the Etang de Thau. Or take the vintage (folding) bikes and cycle via the harbour along the Etang - where you can see the flamingos in the coastline - to one of the oyster restaurants with a view of Sète and Agde.

Layout of the house:
The house (60m2), completely renovated in 2023, is located in one of the characteristic colorful narrow streets of Marseillan. You enter the living room with sitting area and small desk, there is a toilet and a closet with washing machine. We have retained the authentic features of the house, such as the old spiral staircase, wooden beams, and old doors.
The spiral staircase takes you to the 1st^{floor with} bedroom and adjacent bathroom with sink and walk-in shower.
On the 2nd^{floor where} the sunlight shines towards you, is the open kitchen with dining area and access to the terrace with BBQ. You can also hang a hammock to enjoy the Mediterranean sun.

There is wifi and air conditioning. Parking is available in the various (free) parking spaces not far from the house. In consultation you can use our sailboat that is moored in the port of Marseillan.
