Gite Bersac

Welcome to  Gite Bersac
The location of our house is about 8.5 hours (835 km) from Utrecht, good to do in a day. The area is very suitable for people who love an active holiday.

The gite is fully furnished with large garden and private pool, barbecue, swing, tennis table and nice seating areas with sun loungers  and is suitable for 4 people.  (Extra cot = total 5). 

A truly beautiful setting, the Monts d'Ambazac, with heights of 700 meters and unique views, dense forests and shy deer running away, you should definitely experience this. There is also a lot to do for the children.

The house looks like this.
Living room; equipped with sofa bed and two armchairs. TV with all Dutch channels, DVD player. Radio with CD player and free WIFI available.
Wood stove as main heating supplemented by electric heaters.
Kitchen; Double door refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and combi microwave.
Sufficient cutlery, pans and crockery, etc. are available.
In the kitchen there is a corner sitting area which can accommodate up to 5 people.
Scullery; Extra toilet and washing machine. Furthermore, the ironing board, children's bath and high chair are also located here.
On the 1st floor are two bedrooms and the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Master bedroom; Double bed with two mattresses of 200x80cm and two separate duvets of 140x200cm and pillows. You must bring your own bed linen.
Cot available. (fold-out camping bed)
Children's bedroom; Bunk bed with two mattresses of 200×90 cm, two duvets and pillows. Bed linen to bring yourself.
You must also bring your own towels, etc.

The garden;
Through the patio doors you enter the garden. The following is present in the garden; 4 adjustable garden chairs with chair cushions, 4 bucket seats and a large dining table.
Large clean pool. Barbeque, table tennis table and basketball ring.
A fantastic garden with grass and trees for shelter.

Around the gite;
The town of Maillofargueix is located near Bersac sur Rivalier (4 km) and Bessines sur Gartempe (6 km).
The bakery for daily fresh bread (except Thursdays) is in Bersac.
There are also a few other shops here, including a butcher and a restaurant where you can eat well for little money (reservation recommended).
In the larger town of Bessines are the supermarkets Intermarché and Aldi.
Of course also the many small shops and terraces for a cup of delicious coffee.
The still large supermarkets can be found in the so-called Zones Commerciales. Just before Limoges, with a Cora, La Coupole, or just south of Limoges, with a Carrefour. 

To see, to do;
In Bessines is the Lac de Sagnat Lake (fishing, swimming, hiking). A lovely lake where you can swim with a sandy beach. In the weekend of July 14 there is the Bandafolies. A (music) event not to be missed with grand fireworks at the Lac de Sagnat.
Just outside Razes, you will find the Lac de St. Pardoux with many opportunities for water sports and the new indoor and outdoor swimming pool. 

In the early and late season it is possible to come or leave on days other than Saturday.
