Are you looking for a chalet with a quiet location? In the middle of nature? Le Hibou Vert has a beautiful, unique location at the foot of Mont Blanc. Next year we will regularly rent out the chalet during the period that we are not there ourselves.
The chalet is located 1100 meters on the edge of the forest and cul-de-sac between the villages of Les Contamines and Saint-Gervais . Close to the fashionable Megéve and famous Chamonix (25 minutes drive).
Le Hibou Vert can accommodate up to eight people and isideal for one or two families with children. There is no shortage of space, because in addition to a cozy living and dining room with a large fireplace, there is a separate TV room where you can all relax. The kitchen is basic, but fully equipped. In addition, the chalet has a bathroom with shower and sink, separate toilet, second toilet on the bedroom floor, two spacious double bedrooms and a large bright play-bedroom with two bunk beds. From the spacious garden or from one of the two sunny terraces you can enjoy a beautiful unobstructed view.
In the summer, our chalet is the ideal home base for climbing, hiking, rafting, swimming in mountain lakes, tennis, mountain biking or taking a trip to one of the many authentic mountain huts. Behind the house begins one of the classic routes to the Dômes de Miage, Bionnassay or to the summit of Mont Blanc (4810m). Le Hibou Vert is also located along the route of the Tour du Mont Blanc.
The ski resorts of Les Contamines, Saint-Gervais and Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce are about an eight-minute drive away.
