La Ferme a la Balme

Completely renovated (half) farmhouse in Savoyarde style. Ideally located between Abondance and La Chapelle d'Abondance, in the middle of the Portes du Soleil with more than 600 km of contiguous ski slopes in winter spread over 12 stations and 2 countries. La Ferme offers a great combination of authenticity and the unique Savoyarde architectural style without making any concessions to comfort.

It is ideal that the farm has a separate studio with 4 sleeping places, bathroom, separate toilet and kitchenette for optimal privacy. Great if, for example, you bring parents, parents-in-law, adult children and/or friends. La Ferme also has a spacious living room, adjoining a cozy kitchen with bar, a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets.

The Savoyarde is known for its culinary character, offering much more than just fondue and raclette, both on and off the ski slopes. Abondance itself is the cradle of the fromage d'Abondance. And there is also a lot to do in the Portes du Soleil outside the winter sports season, such as mountain biking, rafting and hiking. Or you can descend to Lake Geneva in about half an hour with fashionable places such as Thonon les Bains and Evian les Bains, known worldwide for their table water.
