Chalet Le Passe-Temps

This chalet is located in the French Alps, half an hour's drive from Lake Geneva, an ideal starting point for both a summer and a winter holiday.

In the summer, it's buzzing with outdoor activities, from hiking, cycling to canyoning, rafting and paragliding. A good starting point for trips to Evian, Thonon les Bains, the medieval village of Yvoir, Montreux and a boat trip to Lausanne.

The chalet is located in the heart of the large Portes du Soleil ski area. With more than 600 km of slopes, this area offers plenty of opportunities for skiers of all levels and for every budget. The somewhat smaller ski area of Saint Jean d'Aulps is ideal for beginner skiers or families with children. But also the larger ski areas, such as Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets and Chatel are easily accessible and offer plenty of opportunities for ski tours, among other things. Free ski bus stops 300 meters from the chalet, ski rental at 300 meters.

Characteristics of the chalet are: comfort, cosiness, space, privacy and child-friendliness.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and sink, there is a large sauna with separate relaxation room, and the kitchen is optimally equipped. Free Wifi. For the evenings there is also a competition-sized pool table, and we have a TV with satellite with all Dutch channels and DVD with dozens of movies.

The large living room offers plenty of space for 12 people, with a large sitting area with a beautiful fireplace (free wood), and a 12-person dining table.

Because we like to cook ourselves, we have paid a lot of attention to the design of the kitchen, including an induction hob with 5 zones. All possible kitchen utensils are available. Enough to cook deliciously, even for 12 people.

The separate storage room can be used to place your skis or bicycles, and to dry your clothes. You will also find a second fridge, a washing machine and tumble dryer.

On the first floor you will find four bedrooms, each with a balcony. The bedrooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom with shower and sink, and plenty of storage space for clothes. Two twin rooms and two with three single beds. You can bring single bed linen for all beds (200X90). You can also rent bed linen. There is a separate toilet on this floor.

In the basement is the fifth bedroom with twin beds (180x200) with bathroom with bath. In the basement you can relax in the Finnish sauna (4-6 people). There is a wonderfully quiet relaxation room, which offers all the privacy you want. In the basement there is also a competition-sized pool table and there is a separate toilet.

Three large terraces, both with sun and shade, offer plenty of opportunities to relax. Weber barbecue. There is a separate room where children can play safely.

Ample parking, two in the carport and outside there is still room for three cars.
