Le Perce Neige, La Pantiaz

This sunny apartment for up to 8 people is located on the ground floor of a former hotel with a spacious terrace , south-facing garden and a beautiful view . It is an ideal location for a winter sports holiday . La Pantiaz Ski Lift is 200 meters from the apartment. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail and hiking trails on your doorstep and sled dogs are used. In the summer there are various hiking trails and bicycle/mountain bike trails in the immediate area and throughout the valley.

This is an ideal apartment for a winter sports holiday . The telecabine La Pantiaz is within walking distance of the apartment. This lift takes you to Le Braitaz, followed by all lifts of the ' Portes du Soleil ' ski area. This area with 650 km of slopes and 200 lifts guarantees fantastic skiing/boarding for both beginners and advanced winter sports enthusiasts. With the ski bus at your doorstep you can also quickly reach the other major ski lifts of Chatel and Linga. A large part of the ski area is equipped with snow cannons and offers a high degree of snow certainty. The winter sports season in Portes du Soleil is from December 16, 2023 to April 21, 2024. In addition to activities in the ski area, there are also opportunities for beautiful snow walks in the nature reserves around the Mont de Grange and in and around the Vallei d"Abondance. The apartment is in also easily accessible in winter. The road to the apartment is always well cleaned after snow showers.

The apartment is fully equipped. The apartment has 2 large bedrooms , each with a double bed (160cm) and 2 small bedrooms , each with a bunk bed. It has 3 bathrooms with bath or shower, one with toilet and a separate toilet. The living room is modernly furnished with a spacious extendable dining table for 10-12 people and is equipped with TV, Hifi and WiFi . The open kitchen is fully equipped for delicious cooking, equipped with Siemens appliances; dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, refrigerator and freezer, etc. On the terrace you have access to a picnic table and garden chairs . Next to the apartment is the parking lot with 2 parking spaces , one of which is covered .

This is also an ideal place for a holiday in the summer . This area is known for the beautiful walks in the mountains or the challenging routes for cycling or mountain biking . Due to the various ski lifts (which also operate in the summer), the area has very varied options for walking, hiking, cycling and mountain biking . In the area there are several opportunities for swimming and rafting . A stream is 150 meters away and there are small lakes nearby. Chatel also has a modern swimming pool and spa .

Many of the ski lifts are operational in the low season; so there is still a lot to be done.

NB.: Tip: If you drive to and from the Alps on Sundays, this usually saves you 2 - 4 hours. Over the years we have started driving more and more on Sundays and it takes about 8.5 hours via Germany. After all, there is no freight traffic. Fridays and Saturdays are busy with freight and holiday traffic.
