Maison La Lanterne is located in the tiny peaceful village of Bassigney in the north of the Franche-Comté and on the border of the Vosges.
In harmony with nature, near the Lanterne river, this house is decorated with love to make you feel home away from home.
Ideal for activities like cycling, hiking, canoe kayak or fishing. The sunny secluded garden gives space for BBQ or outdoor games. The river is a minute walk from the house and offers a breathtaking view from the garden.
The 3 rooms are about 20m2 each, two of them looks on the garden and river and one of them to the village. There's a double bed in each room, and in two of the rooms there’s a single bed as well, so a maximum of 8 persons can sleep comfortably.

*IMPORTANT*
1. There is only 1 toilet in the house, on the first floor.
2. In the winter, the house is heated with two fireplaces (wood is provided and included in the price), and you will have to make and feed the fire yourself.
3. The village doesn't have any commercial facilities, the closest supermarket is 3 km away, and you can find excellent restaurants within 10-20 minutes drive.

Explanation of prices

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this to the host via email (even if this has already been communicated to the host by telephone, for example).The host will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 90 days before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 29th and 14th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the renter only informs the host on the start date or during the rental period that they will not (or no longer) use the rented object, they remain liable for the full rental price.
