Welcome to Maison La Lanterne, hosted by Eliza&Michael, nestled in the peaceful village of Bassigney, just an hour from the Vosges.
Here, life slows down. A place to reconnect with nature and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Spend your days hiking, cycling or canoeing on the river, exploring nearby towns, visiting local farms.
Back at the house, enjoy cozy yet stylish interiors designed for rest and inspiration or take part in one of the creative workshops hosted by Eliza.
The sunny secluded garden gives space for BBQ or outdoor games. The river is a minute walk from the house and offers a breathtaking view from the garden.
Each of the three bedrooms is approximately 20 m² and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Two rooms overlook the garden and river, while the third has views over the church and village. Every room features a double bed, and two of the rooms also include an additional single bed, allowing up to 8 guests to stay comfortably. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.
The house includes two bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a bathtub + shower.
*IMPORTANT*
1. There is only 1 toilet in the house, on the first floor.
2. In the winter, the house is heated with two fireplaces (wood is provided and included in the price), and you will have to make and feed the fire yourself. The room temperature in winter is 18-20 °C. Downstairs, next to the fireplace it's much warmer.
3. The village doesn't have any commercial facilities, the closest supermarket is 3 km away, and you can find excellent restaurants within 10-20 minutes drive.
4. Animals are not accepted.
5. The maximum capacity of the house is 8 guests (including children). Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.
6. We live next door, so when we are there, we are available if you need any help.
