Our beautiful stylishly furnished holiday home is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Cazaunous (Haute-Garonne), at the foot of the Pyrenees and various cols that are regularly visited by the Tour de France and therefore ideally located for walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists, fishermen, skiers and those seeking peace and quiet.
The holiday home offers all the luxury and modern necessities for a pleasant holiday with enough space for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, heated swimming pool, private terrace, large outdoor area for sunbathing and relaxing, Free WiFi and TV with Flemish, Dutch, French and German channels. You can also cast Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime from smartphone and tablet. The holiday home has a view of the large beautiful garden and is bordered by a small river, there are several resting places in the garden.
The holiday home is separate from the main house with its own entrance, it has a separate living room with large television and a sitting area with dining table. The sofa in the sitting area can easily be converted into a double bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave and convection oven, induction hob, large fridge-freezer combination, dishwasher etc...
The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the bedroom also has a double bed that can be separated into two single beds and has plenty of closet space.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet and bathroom furniture with sink, there is also a hairdryer available. Outside is a covered terrace with shade cloth, a lounge set and a barbecue is provided. There is an unobstructed view of the garden and pool. Guests have the exclusive use of the heated swimming pool with surrounding terrace on which plenty of sun loungers and parasols have been placed.
Parking space (Carport), garage for bicycles or motorcycles is available. Our beautiful region is ideal to discover on foot, by bike or by motorbike.
Skiers also have plenty of options to choose from.
In the area there are many marked walks and opportunities for fishing. The gîte is located in the immediate vicinity of Col des Ares, Col de Menté and Col de Portet-d'Aspet.
These cols are regularly on the programme of the Tour De France. It is therefore the perfect environment for cycling and hiking enthusiasts with an endless list of hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes for all abilities, including e.g. the Pic du Cagire (1912 m.)
We are also conveniently located just 11 km, west of Aspet, a pleasant market village that provides access to amenities such as butchers, bakers, supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bank, hairdresser and pharmacy. In Saint-Gaudens you will find the larger hyper-supermarkets, train station and many other shops.
