Maison d'Amis

An oasis of tranquility in a beautiful setting with a swimming pool and space to rest or play. The Maison d'Amis**** holiday home is equipped with every comfort, is practical, but cosily furnished and has a large covered terrace. The 1.1 hectare plot is surrounded by forest. A few kilometers from Barbotan-les-Thermes, and the Lac de l'Uby. A holiday home for gourmets.

The Maison d'Amis**** holiday home is located in the yard of a former farm, almost completely surrounded by forest. The holiday home has a floor space of 130 square meters, spread over 2 floors with 3 bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a sofa bed for one or two people. On the ground floor is a great room with a living room, dining area and a modern open plan kitchen, fully equipped with all mod cons. A small hallway leads to the bedroom on the ground floor and a bathroom with a large shower, sink, toilet, washing machine and dryer. Another hallway leads to the stairs to the upper floor under the roof with 2 large bedrooms, a TV and games room and a shower room with toilet.

The holiday home was completely renovated in 2020/2021 and equipped with every comfort. In front of the house is a large covered wooden terrace (27 m²) with a view of the courtyard, the garden and the forest. The built-in pool measures 10 x 4 meters and can be used privately between 9am and 8pm (until 10pm in the warm summer months). For our guests there is a covered parking space in the old barn next to the house. A small part of the holiday home is attached to the house of the hosts Feico & Christina, but it is completely separate and private.

Larée is a village on the river Douze with around 230 inhabitants spread over an area of around 12.8 km2 and is located a few minutes drive from Cazaubon (with a supermarket and 3 bakeries) and Barbotan les Thermes in the Bas-Armagnac, part of Gascony in southwestern France. The Lac de l'Uby with an area of 71 ha is nearby and invites you to walk, swim and row. Larée is located in the extreme northwest of the Gers department, « le Pays de bien vivre », a peaceful hilly landscape with numerous small villages, bastides and many castles and "domains" where you can taste and buy Armagnac, wine and Floc. 15 kilometers west is Labastide d'Armagnac, in the Landes department, a medieval town well worth a visit. 16 km to the east is Eauze with a cathedral and a beautiful old town. Every Wednesday there is a market in Barbotan-les-Thermes until 12 noon and every Thursday until 12 noon in Eauze. 36 km to the southwest is Air-sur-l'Adour, a beautiful pilgrim town on the River Adour.
