Beautiful, sunny location 'maison de vacance'. South facing with separate (heated) swimming pool with privacy, garden with swing and a jeu de boules court. You have a beautiful view of the hills, mountains and the medieval village. The house is equipped with whisper-quiet air conditioning that can be controlled separately per room. The location offers a lot of privacy, but is not isolated. There is room for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children aged from approx. 7 years old who can swim (the pool does not have a separate children's area and is 140 cm deep everywhere). The house contains 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3x toilet. At the pool is a pool house with extra toilet and shielded outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is VERY good Wifi (fiber optic internet) and on arrival you will find beds made when ordering the bed linen package (extra). There is also a PS4 game console available.

We are Paul and Betty and since 2004 we have been in possession of our fine holiday home 'Le Veyou', (named after the highest mountain of the Trois Becs, the mountain formation in the Drôme on which our house overlooks). Our house is located on a hill, on the outskirts of Beaufort-sur-Gervanne, a medieval village in the natural park Le Vercors. The house has been recently renovated and has a heated swimming pool (28 degrees!) from May to October, and an air conditioning/climate system throughout the house. There is a boule court and WIFI.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

We strongly advise every tenant to take out their own travel and cancellation insurance. If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

The river Eygues, wonderful to enjoy.
Built between 1341 and 1409, this Romanesque bridge is classified as a Historic Monument.
Once again the Romanesque bridge.
The Catholic church, Eglise Saint Vincent, is a fairly small church from 1614. The bell tower is surrounded by a wrought iron campanile.
The colourful and atmospheric market in Nyons is a must. The market is spread over several squares and streets. The range ranges from fruit and vegetables, kazaen, meat fabrics, clothing. Local products, in short, something for everyone.
