Gîte Le Trincou – a quiet, atmospheric place in the Dordogne
Gîte Le Trincou is a spacious and charming holiday home where you can really relax. The gîte is located in a 17th century part of the La Verte domain, in the middle of the green Dordogne, and can accommodate up to 6 people. The house is not adjacent to other guest houses.
La Verte features a large 1-hectare garden with a shared swimming pool. The gîte itself has its own garden and lots of privacy.
You enter through the terrace on the first floor. Here is the cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer). The large fireplace with wood stove makes it a nice place to relax after a day in nature.
On this floor you will also find the bathroom with two sinks, a spacious walk-in shower and a separate toilet. In addition, there is a bedroom with double bed (160 x 200) and a private bathroom with shower and toilet.
On the ground floor is a very spacious bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200). There is also a wood stove.
On the top floor is the third bedroom with two box spring beds.
Terrace and garden
The terrace is directly adjacent to the living room and offers a beautiful view over the valley of the river Trincou. Next to the terrace is the private garden, where you will find both sun and shade, ideal for a quiet morning or a relaxing evening outside.
The house has a warm, authentic feel with wooden floors, thick beams, fireplaces and pierres apparentes (stone walls).
