Spectacular holiday gîte with beautiful swimming pool… This former 17th century barn has been renovated to a very high standard to create a spacious, three double bedroom cottage with a bathroom, a large open-plan kitchen/dining room and sitting room with double sofa bed downstairs and an extra WC. There is a private terrace for al fresco dining, a 10 x 5 swimming pool (to be shared now and then with the kind owners and/or B&B friendly clients), BBQ, gardens with grassed area. There is a bakery, restaurant, post office in the neighboring village and all other amenities 10 min. away. Just 10 minutes south of Sarlat.

The light, airy sitting room has wooden floors, exposed beams, 2 sets of double doors overlooking a private terrace & the swimming pool. There are 2 sofas (1 double sofa bed), TV, DVD player, UK satellite TV channels, WiFi (in all the rooms), wood burning stove. Open plan fully fitted bright and airy kitchen dining room to include fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, hob with extractor fan, oven, dishwasher, kettle. Dining table to seat 6 comfortably.

1st floor
Double bedroom 1 with double bed. Twin bedroom 2 with 2 x single beds. Double bedroom 3 with double bed. Double sofa bed in the sitting room. Bathroom includes large 120cm x 80cm power shower, WC , sink unit and heated electric towel rail. Additional Separate WC with wash hand basin. WC and wash hand basin in the pool house.

Surroundings
The gîte overlooks fields and the River Cèou and is uniquely situated in the peaceful, classified village of Gaumier in the Canton de Domme, (popular with walkers and cyclists as there are several walking routes, some through the vines leading to the Chai du Vin de Domme, a local vineyard). The famous medieval City of Sarlat is 20 min. away and there are many other major tourist attractions 10 min. away.
