The Demeure Fleurie lives up to its name. This authentic Périgord house in blond stone welcomes you in a green setting, between flowery garden and undulating meadows. Here, time slows down.
Nestled in the middle of its acres of land, the house offers complete privacy. From the terrace or the windows of the rooms, the view is drawn to the fields, the hay bales and the wooded hills of the Périgord Noir. No neighbours, no road — just the birds singing and the rustling of leaves.
The large living room reveals all the character of the house: walls entirely in exposed stone, imposing Périgord fireplace, massive beams and old terracotta tiles. Leather club chairs and Persian rugs invite you to read or contemplate. The kitchen, also made of stone, opens onto the garden through a glass door. It is fully equipped and has a dining area for breakfasts in the sun.
Upstairs, two bedrooms under the eaves extend the romantic atmosphere: stone walls, exposed beams, floral linen matching the name of the house. The master bedroom has its own shower room. A bathroom with bathtub completes the floor. On the ground floor, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room offers level access.
The heated salt water swimming pool (10 x 5 m) is fully fenced – a great asset for families with children. Sunbeds, parasols and pool house are available. A little higher up, in the shade of the trees, a paved terrace hosts alfresco dining with views of the pool and the countryside. Charcoal barbecue for evening grilling.
Saint-Chamassy is ideally located to radiate in the Périgord Noir. The Gouffre de Proumeyssac, nicknamed the "Crystal Cathedral", is only 2 km away. Le Bugue and its shops are 7 km away. Limeuil, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, 3 km away. Les Eyzies, the world capital of prehistory, is 15 km away. Sarlat and its medieval market 35 km away.
Bed linen is provided (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers), as well as towels (2 bath towels and 1 pool towel per person). Wi-Fi, washing machine, charcoal barbecue.
