Welcome to Les Crocus - Le Studio
Our house is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the Perigord Pourpre, the southwestern part of the Dordogne. It is a lovely, hilly wine region with the town of Bergerac as its centerpiece.
Our house has two guest houses and Le Studio is one of them. The second guest house is La Tour, information about this can be found elsewhere on this site. The two guest houses have their own entrance and you will stay here completely privately. On the first morning of your stay, we offer you a French breakfast.
During your stay, you can relax in the large garden, by the 5 x 11 m swimming pool or on your private terrace. The swimming pool is open from mid-May to the end of September. There is no supervision and use is at your own risk. In the area you can go on beautiful tours by car, bike or on foot. There are numerous medieval bastide towns, such as Eymet, Issigeac and Monflanquin with their colorful weekly markets and restaurants, and imposing castles.
The beautiful city of Bordeaux, which can be reached within 2 hours by train or car, is also highly recommended.
And then of course there are the Routes des Vins, the wine tours with their many chateaus...
Les Crocus is located in the middle of a very quiet hilly landscape, but for more entertainment you can go to the town of Bergerac where you can reach it in fifteen minutes by car. Bergerac is beautifully situated on the Dordogne and you can make beautiful canoe trips.
The airport of Bergerac with regular flights to and from Rotterdam and several English cities is also a fifteen-minute drive away. At the airport you will find several car rental companies.
