This spacious and rural holiday home in the Dordogne is located in the hilly area of the Périgord Noir, near the famous medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. The house offers a beautiful view over the valley of the Dordogne river and combines peace, space and comfort with a central location in one of the most beautiful regions of France.
The property consists of two floors, has a living area of 240 m² and situated on a plot of 1'800 m². The holiday home can accommodate up to 9 people and a baby and is therefore ideal for families, several generations or guests who want to stay comfortably and relaxed.
Unique location in the heart of the Dordogne.
The holiday home is located in the hamlet of Les Bernadoux, Marnac, near Saint-Cyprien, which is located in the triangle of Sarlat, Périgueux and Bergerac. This makes it easy to reach many well-known sights. About a 15-minute drive away is one of the most iconic views of France: the impressive castle of Beynac, spectacularly built against the rock face above the Dordogne river.
The Périgord Noir is known for its medieval towns and villages, castles, prehistoric caves and the many sports activities around the river, such as swimming, canoeing and tree climbing.
Despite its quiet location, supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants are only 5 minutes away, including in the atmospheric Saint-Cyprien.
Ground-level comfort and accessible layout
A big plus of this holiday home is the comfortable, largely single-storey layout. The living room, open kitchen, covered terrace, pool and hot tub are accessible without stairs, providing extra convenience and comfort.
On this floor is also the master bedroom, equipped with a shower and sink, so that everything needed is close together. This makes the house very suitable for guests who value comfort, overview and ease of use, both in the high season and in the early and late season.

This gives peace of mind and makes the house particularly suitable for families and grandparents who want to relax while children play safely.
Next to the pool is a pool house with fridge and kitchenette, a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy a drink.
