Welcome to Lesgrabous, an exclusive and tastefully decorated holiday home (+ studio) for up to 8 people (plus babies), located on a 3-hectare estate in the middle of the Dordogne nature. Here you will experience the charm of the French countryside in peace, yet with the cosiness of the atmospheric Les Eyzies just 1.5 km away, known for its nice weekly market, good restaurants and sunny terraces. Lesgrabous is from Dutch owners, the pool is fenced and therefore safe for children. Here you can enjoy the silence, nature, and evenings under the stars from your own hot tub.
The newly built studio with its own kitchen and bathroom is located next to the pool and is completely new (2024). Here 2 people can stay and enjoy the beautiful starry sky in complete privacy. It can be rented extra for 1000 euros in July and August, outside of that for 750 euros. Ideal for an extra couple or grandparents, for example! Studio is never rented separately!
Inside
The living room is very tastefully decorated and has a large fireplace for the romantics among us. The cozy living room features a large fireplace and stylish seating area. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook for themselves. Lesgrabous has three spacious bedrooms with luxury box-spring beds (90x200, can be linked to double beds if desired), a baby cot and a high chair. Fans provide extra comfort in the summer. There are two modern bathrooms (one with double sinks and walk-in shower) and two separate toilets, one on each floor.
Outside
The private heated swimming pool (5 x 10 m) is a wonderful place to spend long summer days. There are several terraces with sun and shade, sun loungers and an outdoor fireplace for atmospheric evenings. In the large garden, children can enjoy table tennis, badminton, darts and jeu de boules. The romantic hot tub in the garden is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
Environment
Lesgrabous is just minutes from the lively Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, the 'capital of prehistory', with numerous museums, caves and hiking trails. Other Dordogne attractions such as Sarlat, the Vézère Valley and medieval castles are also within easy driving distance. Shops, markets and nature are within easy reach, but as soon as you enter the grounds of Lesgrabous, you are again surrounded by peace, space and privacy.
