Domaine La Cabane is a small estate in the Dordogne/Lot region with 4 luxurious and spacious holiday homes for 4, 5 and 6 people. There is a large chlorine-free swimming pool with sun loungers to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquility.

One of the four holiday homes is La Chouette . This nice authentic house has 2 beautiful and bright bedrooms with excellent beds on the floor and is  suitable for max.  5 people. The living/dining room gives access to the large private terrace on the southwest. Here you will find a barbecue and garden furniture. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer etc.  The bathroom has a shower and sink and there is a separate toilet.

All tourist attractions of both departments can be reached within a relatively short distance by car. We are happy to help you discover this beautiful region.
Recommended are Rocamadour, Sarlat, Domme, the pre-historic caves such as Pech Merle, Cougnac etc., the many castles, medieval towns. And of course not to forget the delicious regional dishes that are served in all restaurants.

We are Remko and Rinske Koens-Binnendijk and have been coming to La Cabane since early 1997. From 2023 we are the owners of La Cabane.
There is so much to do and see in this area that many holidaymakers return year after year.
The gourmet will also get his money's worth here!! The most beautiful dishes are served in the restaurants at very reasonable prices.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The prices mentioned are for the 5-person holiday home.

  • The prices include bed linen and final cleaning costs. (Broom-clean delivery) 
  • Towels and tea towels not included. (towel set rental 10 pcs. € 15,-
  • Security deposit: € 300 (Cash)  To be handed over on arrival.
  • Deposit will be returned after inspection round by owner (without culpable damage)
  • From 1 October to 1 May surcharge Electricity/heating € 10 per day
  • High season Gîtes per 7 days from Saturday to Saturday (July & August)
  • Out of season 3 minimum 3 days rental from September to July, check-in day in consultation
  • Tourist tax € 2,- per person per day
  • Pet in consultation and with surcharge

Additional information

La Cabane is easily accessible by car, there is a large parking area. From the motorway A20 is still a 20 minute drive to La Cabane.
The location is quiet, in a hilly area. At 5 km are large supermarkets and many restaurants.
All tourist attractions of the Dordogne and Lot region are easily accessible, such as Sarlat, Domme, Rocamadour.
The region is also ideal for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, etc. Also other sporting activities are possible
