Parc Port Couzages

Our holiday home is located on the Parc Port Couzages.
This is a small holiday park (27 cottages) directly on the lake, the Lac du Causse.
It is located in a quiet, hilly area with many entertainment and hiking opportunities.

The 5-person cottage is fully furnished.
The living room  consists of a sitting and dining area with an open kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electr. stove, oven, microwave.
washing machine, fridge with freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker. and a Senseo machine.
In the living area you have a television with connection to the internet.
You have unlimited use of the internet.

The sleeping area consists of 2 rooms and a loft. There is 1 double bed and 3 single beds.
Bathroom with shower, and toilet and sink.
You must bring your own linen.

The cottage has a terrace with dining table and nice garden chairs with cushions.
On 2 sides there is a garden where you can also sit with a view of the lake.
Parasols and barbecue available.

You can swim in front of the park, (but it is advisable to bring water shoes),
Next to our park is a restaurant whose owners take care of  cleaning and key management. They can also always offer help. This year the restaurant is closed.
There is  also the possibility of water skiing next to the park.

A 7 km hiking trail runs around the lake.  On the other side of the lake is a 
sandy beach with picnic facilities under the trees.
There is a screened swimming area with supervision for the little ones.
There is also a water sports center where you can rent pedal boats, paddle boards and canoos.
For fishing enthusiasts, a fishing license is available.
Behind the park is a large forest area with marked walks.
Ideal for people with dogs.

There are many castles and caves in the area. The world-famous Lascaux Cave
is very worthwhile.
There are also many medieval villages where markets are held, such as,
Rocamadour, Collonges-la-Rouge, Turennes and many others.
