The Perigord Vert region is located in the north of the French department of Dordogne. This region stands for peace, nature and water and is characterized by forests with lakes and rivers, with small villages here and there. In this region lies Champs Romain, a charming little village, about 15 km from the rural town of Nontron. Camping Chateau Le Verdoyer is located in Champs Romain. Surrounded by sweet chestnuts and mighty oaks and in the middle of a beautiful green valley that overlaps the Dordogne, Limousin and Charente.

We rent our mobile home for 4 people at this special spot in the Dordogne.
This is fully equipped: two bedrooms with two beds of 200x80 each, a cot and high chair, a well-equipped kitchen with a cozy seating area, a spacious bathroom and a separate toilet! And because life mainly takes place outside during holidays, each mobile home has a lovely covered terrace of 3x6 meters with a dining table and a lovely lounge set. A robust BBQ is also included. Washing machines and dryers are available at the campsite.

We also rent out the adjacent mobile home. The mobile homes are located next to each other and can be booked separately. Due to its location, it is also suitable for couples with children. On holiday together, but each with their own accommodation. You must bring your own bed linen, towels, etc., but these can also be rented. The mobile homes are centrally but quietly located on the campsite, near the swimming pools and the activity square, but still sufficiently sheltered to experience peace and quiet. . Everything is there for a top holiday for you and your children. A beautiful swimming pool, paddling pool and water slide and all kinds of play equipment and an arcade spread throughout the campsite. An entertainment team is present in high season. There is also something for everyone outside the campsite.

An active holiday? You can walk, cycle, go-karting, play tennis, horse riding, canoeing, visit caves.... but the nearby swimming lake, with lots of shade because of the surrounding trees, is also wonderful to visit. There are several villages and towns nearby that are worth a visit: Nontron (14km), Brantome (20km) and Thiviers (20km) are worth a visit. And Perigueux as the capital of the Dordogne and Limoges as the capital of the Limousin are very worthwhile for shopping. There is a rustic golf course of 8 hectares 3 km from the campsite. An original course for advanced players to play, an opportunity for novice players to discover golf further: introductory sessions are regularly organized. The golf course is open all year round. And yes, fishing. There are 2 freely accessible lakes, one near the castle (carp) and the other lake next to the campsite (carp, perch, pike-perch, tench, roach).

In collaboration with the campsite you can possibly rent bed linen and linen. You can no longer rent bed and linen on site, you must indicate this when you book. You can also enjoy a welcome dinner upon arrival, the campsite also offers a breakfast service.
