France - Dordogne RENTAL CHALET
No permit or license necessary/required.

We have a chalet in Champs-Romain, France and always rent it out from the end of April to the end of September. Renovated and in very good condition with the necessary amenities.
This is located on the beautiful castle grounds/campsite**** Le Verdoyer,
800 km from Antwerp and is located slightly further north than the Dordogne (stream) itself and close to the Périgord-Limousin nature park. Chalet is very well equipped with every comfort. No fencing provided.
Quiet, beautiful surroundings with forests, lakes, fishing ponds, beautiful walking and cycling routes, historical and interesting sights and, above all, just enjoy the peace and quiet at the swimming pools or have a nice picnic. Is centrally located between 4 larger cities including Limoges and Périgueux.
Ideal for families and people who not only love nature and tranquility, but also like to visit markets or discover the many sights. There is a children's club "Lenny Club", which provides entertainment for the children and also in the evenings the rest of the family. During the summer holidays you can go pony riding.
The domain itself has 3 swimming pools, 1 of which is indoor, sports facilities, fishing ponds & lakes, playground, restaurant in the castle, patio with bar and shop, ... At least 3 overnight stays. One week = 7 nights - No pets allowed.
Chalet open from 4pm to 9pm (campsite gate closes at 10pm). Leave the chalet between 8am and 10am
Everything included (gas, electricity, tourist tax, one-time cleaning)
No additional cleaning costs will be charged, but the chalet must be left clean

Marc & Niki are Belgians from Schoten and have 2 children. Bought this chalet in 2020 just because the peace and the environment attracted us very much. Because air travel no longer became the favorite way of traveling for us and driving a car for a long time did not become so obvious, this became the ideal holiday destination.
We want to avoid very busy destinations and this place is ideal to get around quickly (for shopping, but especially to visit various sights).

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

week = 7 nights and 10% discount but does not apply in high season

from the end of April to May: 3 nights = €250

Month of June: 3 nights = €280

month of September: 2 weeks = €1000

At the reception you have to pay €1.40 for tourist tax and environmental contribution.
Cancellation is free of charge when indicated more than 9 weeks before the start of the rental period:

8 weeks before the start date of the rental period, the tenant will continue to owe 50% of the rent.
from 4 weeks to the start date of the rental period = the full rent.
If you are only notified 2 days before, you cannot reclaim your deposit.

EXCEPTIONS:

only when a travel ban is imposed by the country of origin and/or France and/or borders are closed.

Please do not smoke in the house. Pay attention to fire hazards (e.g. with BBQ).
When you leave the chalet after your stay, please leave it clean. If this does not happen, this will be charged to your deposit.
Waste selected in the containers on the domain. Paper and plastic bottles may be put together in a specific container. Keep glass separate and drop it in the relevant container.
Replenish stock when used up. Especially, for example, toilet paper, spices, dishwashing and cleaning products. Do not leave products with a short expiration date.
Please report when something has broken or something can be improved.

Nontron is the nearest municipality of size for shopping and good eating out.
Fishing ponds on the domain and also in the immediate vicinity with lakes and rivers even within walking distance.
Many nice markets (our favorite = Piègut on Wednesdays).
