The Dordogne, one of the most beautiful and untouched regions of France.
With tourist attractions such as the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda
and the caves of Lascaux. But also with small, authentic villages where you
can stroll around in the streets. Culture, nature, adventure, the Dordogne offers
so much variety that you can have any type of holiday you want.

In Carlux, a small but centrally located village we rent one
holiday home for four people. The house itself consists of two comfortable
bedrooms, a spacious living room with kitchen and a shower room. In the front
is the terrace, with barbecue and a beautiful view over the hills of the
Périgord-Noir.

The holiday home, together with 11 other homes, is part of the
small holiday resort 'Les gîtes de Carlux', where you can find a cozy and
pleasant atmosphere. A large outdoor heated pool, a
badminton court, and some playgrounds for the children.

We are a couple with two young children and we love the Dordogne, for us one of the most beautiful and authentic regions of France. A place where there is always something to do, for both families with children and couples. And where Carlux is also an excellent base to visit the Dordogne, centrally located yet quiet. We would love to come to our holiday home and rent it to you!

Explanation of prices

- It is possible to book a midweek or check in on other days, please message us with your specific question.

- The rate includes gas, electricity and water, as well as tourist tax. The only additional costs are the deposit and final cleaning.

- Bed linen and towels are included, they are changed weekly free of charge. The beds are made when you arrive. A baby cot is provided (you must bring your own bedding). Wi-fi is free and there is a DVD player and satellite TV.

- We welcome you on the day of arrival from 4 p.m. On the day of departure you can use your gite until 10:00 am.

- After receiving your reservation, we will send you an invoice for 50% of the rental amount, which must be paid within 1 week. After receipt of this amount your booking is final. The remainder of the rental amount must be paid together with the deposit 8 weeks before arrival. You will receive an invoice for this in a timely manner. For bookings made 8 weeks or less before the arrival date, the full rental amount must be paid in one go. Any cancellation must be made in writing. For cancellations more than 8 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the rental amount is due. For cancellations from 8 weeks or less before the arrival date, 100% of the rental amount is due. In both cases you do not have to pay the deposit or it will be refunded. It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance.

- Our gite is non-smoking, so smoking is not allowed inside. Pets are not allowed on the premises.
