Domaine les Forges / Le Bois Senis is a luxurious and comfortable villa park with about 90 villas in the sunny Poitou-Charentes with many facilities for (young) families and seniors. And that at only 760 km and less than 8 hours drive (from Breda).
The park is perfectly maintained and exudes luxury, tranquility and safety. The park has a large swimming pool and a toddler pool. The swimming pools are open from May to early October. There is also a playground and there are two jeu-de-boules courts and a table tennis table. Ping-pong balls and bats are available in our house.
Our perfectly maintained villa number 34 has all living functions on the ground floor and is located on the most beautiful part of the park. The villa of 80 m2 has a beautiful and enclosed garden with privacy where you can enjoy the barbecue from the terrace of approximately 80 m2 (of which covered approximately 60 m2) and you can see many flowering plants and shrubs. There are chairs around the table and there are sun loungers, all made of hardwood. There is a garden for the sun and a garden with picnic table for the necessary shade in the summer. The park is car-free.
The spacious living room has patio doors on two sides where you open directly onto the terrace. In the living room there is a sofa bed where two children can sleep well, a three-person sofa and chairs. On the television table is a DVD and a Smart TV on which all Dutch channels can also be found. There is fast fiber optic internet available. The living room has high ceilings which creates an extra spacious effect and the villa has tilt-and-turn windows with mosquito netting almost everywhere. The two bedrooms each have two box-spring beds of 90 x 200 cm and both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The main bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and shower. The small bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. There is a wide range of all kinds of attributes in the house. You must bring your own linen (wo duvet covers, fitted sheets). There are good and clean duvets and pillows (new) available.
The open kitchen is luxurious and there is a dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.
The washing machine is located in a special enclosed room. The meter cupboard contains the ironing board, the iron and the vacuum cleaner, among other things.
The region fully meets the ideal image of France: pleasant weather, picturesque villages, cozy terraces, a relaxed atmosphere and not to forget excellent and very affordable regional cuisine.
The park is quietly located, 1 km from an organic shop (for daily shopping) and about 4 km from a town with bakery, caterer, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Three large towns such as Poitiers are about 30 mimuts away by car with the large and various shops, supermarkets and restaurants. In the area there are many castles and typical rural villages with local markets and festivals. It is beautiful cycling and walking.
At Poitiers (the oldest university city in France with a very beautiful center) you can go to the amusement park Futuroscope. It is about a 30-minute drive away. The wide sandy beaches of La Rochelle and the island 'Ile de Re' and the beautiful marshland 'Marais Poitevin' can be reached after about an hour's drive. There is a lot to do in the area. There is a beautiful large golf course about 1 km away where you can buy a green fee per day for a small amount. About 1 km away is a bicycle rental with cheap rates.
In the 'guestbook' that you will find in our house, we have described a number of things for you, including: where the various shops, the restaurants, the sights, the bicycle rental and the medical facilities are. It also states how the various appliances in the house work such as the washing machine, dishwasher, etc.
You can also rent the same type of villa from the commercial providers. For our villa you pay less and you have a perfectly maintained bungalow with beautiful décor and a beautiful garden with privacy on the most beautiful part of the park! For our villa we hope for nice tenants who treat our house with care.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on holiday in our villa.
It is a very safe park with pleasant residents and guests. In addition, the park manager takes good care of the maintenance of the park.
