A cute cozy French house, with a beautiful view! Private pool is lovely! From the cottage there are beautiful walks to make, for tourist sights you have to go a little further away, but this was no problem for us. Tip: sit in front of the house with a cup of coffee at 6:40 am and watch the sun rise. Breathtakingly beautiful!

"Bonjour. Bienvenue au calme." Words spoken by the caretaker when we received the key to the Maison de Campagne we rented. And when the suitcase has been unpacked and everything has been given a place, only then does it sink in...

"Bonjour. Bienvenue au calme." Words spoken by the caretaker when we received the key to the Maison de Campagne we rented. And when the suitcase has been unpacked and everything has been given a place, only then does it sink in. Only then do you realize how true those words are. Everything exudes that tranquility. The real French house, the wide grasslands, the forests and even the mountains in the background. Is that strange? Certainly not. You live in one of the three houses in the hamlet. Hearing the occasional rattling of some milk buckets will keep you from feeling lonely. And in such a setting, who cares about the fact that you have to drive ten kilometers to buy a loaf of bread? And then of course back, Somewhere in the house hangs - somewhat hidden - a sign with a Frisian text. From this, you can see that wherever you are in the world, the same sun shines everywhere. We dare to doubt this. Here, in this fantastic place, everything is different. Bienvenue au calme.

A very nice area and a lovely house with swimming pool. The communication with Paul and Hanneke was very nice. Made nice trips in the area. We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

Had a very nice holiday! The house is in a beautiful forest/meadow/hill area with many Limousin cows, where it is beautiful to walk, although the paths are sometimes somewhat adventurous overgrown (tip: an unexpectedly beautiful arboretum at 10 min). The house has a beautiful view (with the Puy-de-Dôme and Sancy in the distance) and the pool and wood stove more than make up for the fact that it is rather secluded. Good support from owner and neighbor.
