Detached family home-dog welcome

Welcome to our wonderfully located detached holiday home! 

Our comfortable and cool holiday home is located on a spacious plot of more than 800 m2, in a quiet part of holiday park VVE in the Poitou-Charente on the border of the Dordogne / Perigord. An ideal place to enjoy peace, space, nature, sports and culture for young and old. 

Relax in the hammock or jacuzzi - bird watching in our garden - or take a dip in the pool or lake with beach. 

For sports enthusiasts, there are plenty of possibilities: mini golf, tennis courts, beach volleyball, golf next to the park, jeu de boules, football field, table tennis and an outdoor fitness trail. The park has 2 heated swimming pools, sunbathing areas, playgrounds and a restaurant. 

In the immediate vicinity you will find the international golf course la Prèze 18 holes, beautiful walking-cycling routes, opportunities for canoeing on the river Tardoire and a large riding school.

Our house is on one level and has a large sun and shade terrace. The roof has been re-insulated and the house has new frames and mosquito nets.  There is garden furniture with regular and adjustable cushioned chairs, sunbeds, private parking; WIFI  fiber optic so that there is a nice workplace. Through a canopy/veranda you reach the utility room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, Nespresso app, Senseo, filter. 

In the living room there is an eco wood stove with oven/formerly fireplace.

The house has 2 bathrooms: one with bathtub and one with shower. Outside you will find the Jacuzzi with lid with child lock and an outdoor shower.

For our guests there are games, golf clubs, puzzles, water toys, table tennis baths, books to borrow.

Surroundings: Our house is located on the border of the Charente Dordogne Perigeux between the oysters and the cows. A region full of nature, history and gastronomy. Here you will find castles, caves, river markets and cozy village festivals. Nice trips include La Rochefoucauld and day trips to the Atlantic coast such as La Rochelle, Royan (where the Gironde flows into the Atlantic Ocean) also cities such as Limoge, Bordeaux, Cognac and the islands are easily accessible. 

Additional facilities in consultation with the landlord: 

• Camping cot/high chair (free) please ask in advance.
• Bed linen €15 pp, kitchen linen and extensive towel set also for a fee of €15 pp. 
• Electric charging possible with your own reel for a fee. You can also fast charge at the Intermarché in Montbron. 
• Need a crate for dog, ask in advance.
