Our spacious 4-bedroom bungalow is located in a holiday park in the Charente. The living room of 60 m2 with a 5m40 high ceiling has a large adjoining kitchen. This is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle,
electric hob and extractor hood. On cold days you can light the fire in the large fireplace, or simply
turn on the electric radiators. In the dining area you will find a large table suitable for 8 people. The living room has two large sofas and 2 chairs.
The 4 bedrooms are 20m2 in size and all have 2 beds of 2m10 long. In one room there is a cot for your baby.

Outside you can enjoy the sun on the large open terrace in spring and autumn. If you prefer to sit in the shade, there is a second covered terrace, with a large table where you can eat and read or play at any time of the day.

For your laundry there is a washing machine and dryer. But when the weather is nice, why not hang it up
the garden on the line? In the laundry room you will also find an extra fridge with freezer.
We have a garage and a carport to park your cars. The garden is 3000m2 in size. Since we are on the edge of
the park you can enjoy all the benefits of a holiday park without hearing other guests.

Golf de la Prèze is a beautiful 18-hole golf course in a quiet, beautiful area and is a 5-minute drive away. It offers a driving range, two pitch and putting greens, and an 18-hole par-3 pitch and putting course. There is also a restaurant with terrace at the golf club to enjoy a well earned drink after your round.

Montbron is the nearest town a 10 minute drive away. The surrounding landscape is said to be reminiscent of parts of Switzerland and even Tuscany due to its history, castle, ramparts and historic streets and houses. There is plenty to do in Montbron for lovers of old France.
There are several small markets on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the first Friday night market in August attracts more than 15,000 visitors. The town itself offers all amenities, with quite a few bars and
restaurants and a small variety of shops. Montbron has an Intermarché and ALDI (supermarket).

The park is located "Le Parc Régional Périgord-Charente-Limousin". Located in the Charente, a
beautiful, unspoilt, lush area with fields of sunflowers and many vineyards. It is brought to life
through a network of winding rivers. Village life in the Charente is fantastic.

Angoulême is the capital of the Charente, a beautiful city with an old town hall and cathedral.
Cognac, known for its

While in the Charente you are also within a 5 minute drive of the Dordogne where you can go to the market in Piégut on a Wednesday. Further on you will find the most picturesque place to visit, Brantôme. Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne, is also worth a visit.
In the Limousin you will find Limoges, known for its porcelain and good food, an hour's drive away.
On to the Richard Leeuwenhart route for a fun day out!


Also a must is La Rochefoucauld 20 minutes drive away with its castle perched above the streets, that
said to be one of the most remarkable chateaux in France. The town itself offers a variety of shops,
bars and restaurants to keep visitors entertained on holiday. You will find a large E. Leclerc (supermarket) on the edge of town.
