Etang-Vallier/Holiday home Du Sable

Holiday home for rent DuSable, France, Charente, Brossac:
In the Charente, in the South-West of France, we have had a very nice 6 person detached house with air conditioning for rent for 20 years at the Etang-Vallier bungalow park in Brossac. Because we still work ourselves and unfortunately cannot always enjoy it ourselves, we offer you our holiday home. The houses are very spacious from each other. Privacy everywhere, in other words. Of course, the holiday home is also suitable for 1 or 2, 3, 4, 5 people.

Brossac is located in the Charente (Nouvelle Aquitaine) about 100 km north of Bordeaux, near the Dordogne and about 1 hour's drive from the Atlantic Ocean, where the large seaside resort of Royan is located. The region is also called "The Tuscany of France" and is known for its wineries, the beef of the Limousin cows, goat cheese, honey, Cognac and not to forget Pineau de Charente (combination of cognac and wine)
The landscape has beautiful rolling hills.

Our holiday home (Holiday home Du Sable) is located on the Etang Vallier holiday domain.
Each house has a spacious garden, which provides a lot of privacy.

Garden
Our bungalow has a garden of about 600 m2 and has a living area. of 72m2.
Our terrace is oriented to the south and is partly covered. You can enjoy the sun all day long. Fortunately, the trees in the garden also give you several spots with shade. The terrace is equipped with a table with chairs and 2 sunbeds. Fixed BBQ / barbecue and parasol.

Living room
Our living room has a sitting area with TV (Dutch channels). Also a spacious table with 6 chairs, large closet with safe (puzzles, games available). For the colder evenings, you can warm up the house with the fireplace. We also have electric heating.

Kitchen
Kitchen with plenty of storage options. 5-burner gas stove. Microwave/convection oven, coffee maker as well as a Senseo machine, toaster, blender, hand blender, dishwasher, washing machine, spacious fridge with separate freezer compartment. All kitchen utensils, so that you can cook for yourself during your holiday.
Bar with 2 bar stools.

Bedroom 1
Bedroom with double bed (180 wide) Total 2 persons.
Spacious closet with hanging and storage area. There is also electric heating.

Bedroom 2
Bedroom with double bed (140 wide) and a bunk bed for children (80x190). Total 4 people.
Also a spacious closet with hanging and storage area. You can use the camping cots for the little ones as is. (2 pieces). Also a baby bath and high chair. (Free to use.)

Bathroom
Bathroom with shower and vanity unit.

Toilet
We have a separate WC.

Air conditioning
Our house has air conditioning. How nice is that.

Parking
2 cars can be parked for free at our house, on the property. There are charging stations in the village, near the town hall.

Shed
Behind our house we have a storage room with extra comfortable chairs. You can also place your bicycles.moutainbikes in it.

Internet
Internet 3G/4G available in the house, Wifi is not available in the house. Fortunately, roaming has been abolished and the cost of your internet subscription is the same as in the Netherlands/Belgium.
When the clubhouse is open, you have free WIFI there. Tip: e sim. 

Swimming pool
The outdoor swimming pool is less than a 3-minute walk from our holiday home and is only accessible to the park's own clients. (open from 15/6 to 15/9).

Lake
A few minutes' walk away is a small lake with sandy beach and grassy meadow just outside our holiday park. On or around the lake, the children will have a great time. No stagnant water, small river flows into the lake. Fishing in the lake is allowed. Fishing license available at the clubhouse.

Just outside our bungalow park there is a clubhouse with a terrace at the lake. Opening hours vary depending on the season. Out of season, it has limited opening hours. At the Clubhouse you have free WIFI. This is run by private individuals and does not belong to the park. 

Pets
In consultation, 1 pet is allowed in the early and late season. Please note: We do NOT have an enclosed garden.
Surcharge per week € 25.00.

Brossac has a favorable climate. You can go mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing and there is even a race track within half an hour's drive. Many beautiful castles and villages can be visited. In the village of Brossac, just a few kilometres from the park, you can use one of the municipal tennis courts for a small fee.
But of course there is also a lot of space to just relax during your stay.

When you book, you will also receive an overview of most of the tips.

We, but certainly also our children, love it. Here the children are still allowed to build huts and wander around. There is no animation.
In our closet there is a folder with lots of folders and ideas.
