Two of the bedrooms have patio doors to the terrace. In addition, one of these bedrooms has its own TV and a bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink. The second independent bathroom has a bath, double sinks, shower and toilet. From the terrace, on both the west and the south side, you have a fantastic view of the village, the vast vineyards of the Minervois, the rolling countryside from the Corbières to the Pyrenees.

Due to the location of the villa you can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The village with its beautiful abbey is within walking distance, as are all kinds of amenities, such as the bakery, butcher, restaurant, hairdresser, pharmacy, dentist, small supermarket, etc. , as well as some cozy terraces. The lively village offers many cultural activities, especially in the summer months, such as concerts and buffets in the abbey. Carcassonne with its world famous medieval upper town (La Cité) is only a 15 minute drive away. There are also many excursions such as Narbonne, Minerve and the Canal du Midi. From Caunes Minervois you drive directly through the valley of the Montagne Noir, a beautiful nature reserve, where you can also visit some caves. The beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean are just over an hour's drive away. The terraces (partially covered) leading from the living room, kitchen and bedrooms connect to the terrace with the heated private swimming pool (9.50 x 4.10) with Roman steps, underwater lighting , sundeck and an outdoor solar shower. The different levels of the beautifully landscaped Mediterranean garden give a lot of atmosphere and ambiance to the whole. Of course you can enjoy the fantastic views from all terraces and there are plenty of chairs, sun loungers, tables and a bbq available. There is also a garage (not intended for cars) in which are at your disposal: a washing machine, tumble dryer, extra large freezer, large fridge and storage space. In addition, there is sufficient space next to the villa for parking a car on the private property.
