From this charming cottage you have a phenomenal view of the green mountains and valleys of the South Ardèche. Un petit coin de paradis, as the French say so beautifully.
The gite has three large arched windows. When you look out from the gite, it feels like you are sitting outside in the view. A beautiful French wall has been built around the private terrace (16 m), so that you are safe with this overwhelming nature around you.
It is a spacious and comfortable holiday home, where many guests like to come back. Nice centrally located for making trips. Vals les Bains is a 6 km drive away and there is the supermarket, the bakery, the butcher and many restaurants. On Sundays there is a lively market. The lively Vals is best known for its pure spring water. So you shower with us in Spa blue! The recently renovated Spa in Vals les Bains is highly recommended!
Directly from the gite you can immediately make beautiful walks and also for cycling enthusiasts with a road bike or mountain bike, this area is a paradise! Nearby are many beautiful natural swimming spots where you can take a refreshing dip in crystal clear waters.
Staying in this holiday home is more of an experience. In the morning you will be woken up by the bells of the sheep and the cheerful swallows. There is no hurry here yet. Surrounding yourself with unspoiled nature, that does something to people. And you still breathe really clean air here! With three hundred Sundays a year and a Mediterranean climate, it is an ideal place for active peace seekers who love the French soie de vivre!
The South Ardèche is one of the greenest and most rural parts of France. The landscape is very diverse; There are many chestnut and fruit orchards, vineyards, quiet rural roads, oak and coniferous forests and rivers. Many wonders of nature can be seen in the area; the Ray-Pic waterfall, Mon Gerbier de Jonc, the Vallon Pont d'Arc, Chier de Borée, le Pont du Diable and the magnificent Gorges de l'Ardèche. Also worth seeing are the cave L'Aven d'Orgnac and the Grotte de la Madeleine.
The gite is very centrally located for beautiful trips to old and picturesque villages with attractive squares, terraces, shops and restaurants: Vals les Bains, Aubenas, Jaujac, Joyeuse, Vogüé, Mirabel, Balazuc, Labeaume, Largentière, Antraigues and many more.
