La Maison Blanche

La Maison Blanche is a lovely, spacious detached villa on more than 3 hectares of private land with a beautiful large private swimming pool. It is located halfway along the Ardèche, a 15-minute drive from the Route du Soleil, about 1050 kilometers from Utrecht.

This is the place to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to the birds and the chirping of the cicadas on a beautiful summer day. From the various terraces you have a beautiful view over the valley and you enjoy complete privacy. You can reach the entire site through the super-fast (1000 Mbps) internet connection via fiber optics.

Classification

You enter the modern and spacious kitchen. This kitchen is fully equipped with 2 ovens (1 combi oven), a coffee machine, food processor, kettle, toaster, 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers and dishwasher to cook as you are used to at home. You can store your groceries in the pantry. There you will also find a safe to store your passports or other important things.

The ground floor is an open plan, from the kitchen you look at a spacious dining area, where you can also play a nice game at the table, there are plenty of them in the cupboard!

In the living room you will find a nice sofa and 2 separate armchairs. The HD television has the usual Dutch channel package.  

From the kitchen you enter a hall that leads to a beautiful spacious 2 person bedroom. With a 160x200 bed, a desk, 2 wardrobes, a dressing table, a large ensuite bathroom and patio doors leading out to the pool terrace, you will want for nothing. The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, spacious sink and a toilet.

The hall continues to the utility room where a washing machine is at your disposal. There is also a modern spacious bathroom with rain shower, double sink and toilet. On the first floor there are three 2-person bedrooms and a simple bathroom with toilet.

The fifth bedroom, with ensuite bathroom is located outside on the other side of the  pool.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The ground floor has underfloor heating and there are two wood-burning stoves.

Outside

On the plot of more than 3 hectares you have all the privacy to enjoy the private swimming pool of 6 x 12 meters, the peace and space. There are several terraces with cozy seating areas, something for everyone and always a shady spot somewhere. A barbecue is also available, for the ultimate holiday feeling!

Environment

There are many things to do in this beautiful region. The local market on Friday mornings in La-Voulte-sur-Rhône is well worth a visit. The authentic villages, Mirmande and Cliousclat are also very worthwhile, there are also some good restaurants. Sports enthusiasts can go canoeing at Les Ollières or Vallon-Pont-d'Arc which is 70 km away. On the other side of the valley there are numerous marked climbing routes (bring your own climbing gear) and for the sporty racing cyclist or mountain biker the area is a true paradise.

The wine lover is also catered for with the Hermitage at 50 km in Tournon-sur-Rhône and fine wines from the southern Rhône valley also within easy reach, think Visan, Gigondas, Sablet and Vacqueras to name a few. If you are a hiking enthusiast, there are also extensive possibilities in the area. Children always like the Ferme aux Crocodilles in Pierrelatte, and there are two climbing forests nearby, Indian Forest and Aquarock. In addition, there are a number of beautiful caves to visit in the Ardèche. For enthusiasts, there are also several fossil search sites and a museum with dinosaurs.

Due to its quiet location, our accommodation is less suitable for youth groups.
The rental price includes bed, bath and kitchen linen as well as use of the barbecue.
