La Maison Blanche

La Maison Blanche is a lovely, spacious detached villa on more than 3 hectares of private land with a beautiful large private swimming pool. It is located halfway through the Ardèche, a 15-minute drive from the Route du Soleil, approximately 1050 kilometers from Utrecht.

This is the place to relax, enjoy the peace and listen to the birds and the chirping of the crickets on a beautiful summer day. From the various terraces you have a beautiful view over the valley and you enjoy complete privacy. You can be reached throughout the site thanks to the super-fast (1000 Mbps) fiber optic internet connection.

Layout

You enter the modern and spacious kitchen/diner. This kitchen is fully equipped with 2 ovens (1 of which is a combination oven), a coffee machine, food processor, kettle, toaster, 2 refrigerators, freezer and dishwasher so you can cook as you are used to at home. You can store your groceries in the pantry. There you will also find a safe to store your passports or other important things.

The ground floor is an open plan, from the kitchen you look at a spacious dining area, where you can also play a nice game at the table, there are plenty in the cupboard!

In the living room you will find a nice sofa and 2 separate armchairs. The HD television has the usual Dutch channel package.

From the kitchen you enter a hall that leads to a beautiful spacious double bedroom. With a bed of 160x200, a desk, 2 cupboards, a dressing table, a large ensuite bathroom and patio doors to the pool terrace, you will want for nothing. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, spacious sink and toilet.

The hall continues to the utility room where a washing machine is at your disposal. There is also a modern spacious bathroom with rain shower, double sink and toilet. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a simple bathroom with toilet.

The fifth bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, is located outside on the other side of the pool. This can be booked separately if you book for 10 people. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Outside

On the plot of over 3 hectares you have all the privacy to enjoy the private swimming pool of 6 x 12 meters, the peace and quiet and space. There are several terraces with cozy seating areas, something for everyone and always a shady spot somewhere. A barbecue is also available, for the ultimate holiday feeling!

Environment

In this beautiful region you will find many caves to visit. The local market on Friday mornings in La-Voulte-sur-Rhône is definitely worth a visit. The authentic villages of Mirmande and Cliousclat are also worth a visit, there are also some good restaurants. Sports enthusiasts can go canoeing at Les Ollières or a little further away at Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, which is 70 km away. On the other side of the valley there are numerous marked climbing routes (bring your own climbing gear) and the area is a true paradise for the sporty racing cyclist or mountain biker.

The wine lover is also catered for with the Crozes-Hermitage at 50 km and beautiful wines of the southern Rhône valley also within easy reach, think of Visan, Gigondas, Sablet and Vacqueras to name a few. If you are a walking enthusiast, there are also extensive options nearby. Children always enjoy the Ferme aux Crocodilles in Pierrelatte, and there are two climbing forests nearby, Indian Forest and Aquarock.
