In a beautiful wide area in Normandy you will find holiday home Le Moulin du Saon. Escape the hustle and bustle of the day and relax, but also enjoy all the sights and activities just a stone's throw away. From the house you are within fifteen minutes driving distance on the beach, in the cozy city of Bayeux, in the national park and at various sights.
An attractive and comfortable stay
The house was completely renovated at the beginning of 2023 with attention to old details to maintain the cozy atmosphere. The spacious living room is a wonderful place to play games together or relax and watch a movie on the flat screen TV. The house is equipped with an air-to-air heat pump with which the house can be both heated and cooled. Almost every room in the house has its own thermostat that can be set in terms of temperature as desired.
Sleep
Our 8 person holiday home has 5 bedrooms. Two large master bedrooms with a double bed each, a bedroom with two single beds and two bedrooms with a single bed. Bed linen is included and a camping cot is also available.
Bathroom
On the ground floor is a spacious modern bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower, toilet, double sink, towel rail, plenty of hanging hooks and a hair dryer. On the first floor there is an extra toilet with sink. Towels are included and toilet paper is provided for the first few days.
Kitchen
The fitted kitchen diner has all the appliances you need, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, kettle, filter coffee maker, mixer and toaster. A few coffee filters, tea bags and coffee are provided for the first few cups, as well as tea, hand & dishcloths, a dishwashing brush, a sponge, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, kitchen paper, baking paper, pepper and salt.
Garden & Parking
Around the house is a large garden with unobstructed views and a river flows around the property. The adjacent building is the old water mill and now serves as a barn. Outside is a spacious garden table with chairs and a parasol. Enjoy the beautiful views, nature, chirping birds and flowing water. Relax and unwind in the two sun loungers and feel free to use the olieton BBQ. In the closet in the living room there are a few small outdoor games.
Parking is available next to the house, there is space for several cars. There is an 11 kW charging station for charging electric cars. You can charge your car with your own charging cable, at a rate of €0.45 per kWh.
Small children
The little ones have also been thought of. The garden is largely fenced, the stairs are equipped with stair gates, there are child-safe sockets and there are also toys in the game cabinet. Furthermore, a camping bed, high chair, changing mat, baby bath and toilet reducer are available on request. In one of the bedrooms there is a low closet that can serve as a changing table, for which a changing mat is available on request.
Washroom
During your stay it is possible to wash and iron. In the stair cupboard you will find a washing machine, drying rack, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mop and various cleaning supplies. Washing powder is available for the first wash.
