Additional information

This brasserie is a real delight on the square in the historic center of Valbonne, where you can relax under the arcades in both summer and winter. Here you get value for money and the quality of the food remains high year after year. Café des Arcades knows how to provide the culinary art of the brasserie excellently.
Saint-Paul de Vence, an enchanting medieval village, is a must-visit during your stay at Villa Orange. Located between Cannes and Monaco, 60 km away, the village retains its medieval charm and is known as a center of modern art. Explore the narrow streets and historical heritage for an hour, while the surrounding nature with vineyards and citrus trees provides a refreshing experience. Enjoy panoramic sea views from the hilltop, discover remarkable monuments and visit the countless art galleries.
The Gorges du Verdon is one of the greatest natural attractions in France. This gorge is the second largest in Europe, after the Tara Gorge in Montenegro and Bosnia Herzegovina, and is known as the Grand Canyon of France.

The area is a paradise for nature lovers, mountain climbers and other adventurers, with abundant opportunities for discovery and activities in the Gorges du Verdon.
Just a 15-minute boat ride from the port of Cannes, the islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat provide a complete change of scenery. Far from the hustle and bustle of the Croisette, the unspoilt nature of the Lérins Islands offers an ideal place for rest and relaxation.

Sainte-Marguerite
This island is rich in exceptional flora and fauna and has an impressive historical heritage. The visit to the Fort Royal is a must, famous for one of its prisoners, the Man with the Iron Mask.

Saint-Honorat
Steeped in tranquility and spirituality, the island of Saint-Honorat is a completely different environment from the city. Inhabited for centuries by the monks of Lérins Abbey, they devote themselves to prayer and produce wine, liqueurs and olive oil.
Gourdon, a small medieval village about 15 km from Villa Orange, is on the list of 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France', making it one of the most beautiful villages in France. The village is isolated on top of a high rock of 760 meters and is known as 'the eagle's nest' because of this geographical and strategic location. The high location naturally offers a breathtaking view of the 'Vallée des Loups' and an exceptional panorama of the coastal strip between Nice and Théoule-sur-Mer.

The old restored houses and castle give Gourdon a rugged charm. The village bustles with vibrancy due to the many shops, artists and craft workshops. Here you will find a glass blower, silk painter, perfume maker, soap manufacturer, confectioner and a baker who makes local delicacies. It is almost impossible to resist the temptation not to buy a souvenir or gift in one of the atmospheric narrow streets of Gourdon!
The principality of Monaco is known for its glamour, vibrant nightlife, Formula 1 races and the famous casino. The exotic garden is home to an extensive variety of plants from all over the world.

A must-see on the Côte d'Azur, this city combines tourism and business allure, where grandeur can be found in everything. Explore the opulent interiors of the Prince's Palace and adjacent gardens. Discover its rich cultural heritage, including the Oceanographic Museum, the Automobile Museum and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony.
On the beautiful Place Massena in Nice you can shop, enjoy a drink on a sunny terrace and people watch. This famous square, located between the old and new town, is surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. Have a cup of coffee in one of the cafes on the edge of the square and observe the vibrant city life. Place Massena is a meeting point for the residents of Nice and is crossed by important boulevards such as Avenue Jean Médecin. A tram runs across the square, but it is otherwise only accessible to pedestrians.

The old buildings surrounding the square have a characteristic red color with typical blue shutters. Under the wide stone colonnades you will find gourmet restaurants and shops, including the famous Galeries Lafayette.

A fountain in the square depicts stories from Greek mythology, with a 7-meter-high statue of Apollo in the center. The fountain and buildings are illuminated at night, and the modern installation by artist Jaume Plensa with seven brightly colored statues of kneeling men along the tram track is an eye-catcher, especially at night. Place Massena hosts events all year round, including the annual Christmas market in December and festivities on July 14, the national holiday. From the square it is only a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais. In the nearby streets you can enjoy shopping in boutiques and exclusive shops full of designer clothing.
Discover the opulent Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its beautiful gardens. Located on the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula, the villa is located in a natural environment by the sea.

During your visit you will learn the history of the pink villa and Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild. Take a journey around the house through the 9 gardens, which take you to Europe and Asia.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it is home to the Baroness's rich art collections.
