The village of Schutz has 160 inhabitants. Unfortunately no shops. 5 km further is a supermarket, a good butcher and 2 restaurants. At 10 km is the city of Daun with many amenities including Rewe, Aldi and Lidl supermarkets. Also div. restaurants and a hospital. Natural swimming pools (Mare). at about 5 km. These are volcanic craters that have been filled with water.
The setting is fantastic. The distance from Utrecht to Schutz is about 325 km. The village is located in the middle of Trier, Koblenz and Luxembourg. 20 minutes to the Mosel or Luxembourg. In the immediate vicinity hiking, cycling and mountain biking opportunities. One place where you can be yourself
We have had it in our possession for 15 years. Received many friends and acquaintances. Had breakfast on the veranda and lit the bbq in the sheltered garden in the evening. The house is for sale due to my advanced age.
