The house is located in an 'erholungsgebiet'. This is a kind of recreation area with several houses. There are no central facilities. There are several lanes, on each lane there are about 14 detached houses with lots of greenery in between. At the beginning of each lane is a central parking lot. The lane is a footpath so no cars can get there. Our house is the first house on the parking lot. The big advantage is that you don't have to carry all your belongings over the path to the house. Most houses are not occupied very often, so you don't have to worry about noise.
It is very green with many trees, many animals are also attracted to this. Like many species of birds and the squirrels come on the terrace hoping for some goodies from you! Because our cottage is located on the outside, you have a beautiful panoramic view from the living room and the terrace!
