A popular place for many holidaymakers, that is our attractive holiday home located in a safe and lively neighborhood that borders the Janwé district. The location is simply perfect given its central location: close to the center of Willemstad and between Mambo Beach and Jan Thiel. No traffic jams!

The house is surrounded by a well-kept garden, with many tropical trees and plants.
At the rear, the house borders a nature reserve, so you are assured of a lot of privacy
On the back porch, where you can have your meals, you can enjoy the garden and the tranquility
A little further in the garden is a lounge terrace with a luxurious lounge set and a hammock, a wonderful place to enjoy the garden, a book or a drink. Here is also the spacious outdoor shower: wonderfully refreshing! Adjacent to the lounge terrace is the swimming pool with pool deck, equipped with 4 luxurious sun beds. The swimming pool measures 6 x 3 meters and is equipped with 2 hydro jets and lighting
A large barbeque is at your disposal. The living room is spacious and cozy and is separated from the back porch by French doors. This way you can open everything and the wind can blow through the house. There are three bedrooms, all with their own walk-in shower, box-spring beds and silent air conditioners. The master bedroom has its own toilet, there is also a 2nd toilet in the house
Several cars can be parked on the driveway next to the house. The driveway is lockable with a closed gate. At the end of the driveway is a wooden fence with a wicket door that gives access to the rear of the house, privacy is guaranteed all around!
All bedroom windows are equipped with sun protection glass and mosquito nets.
The house can accommodate up to 6 people + 1 baby. Children up to and including 2 years old can stay in the house for free. A cot and a high chair are available for the little ones free of charge. If you want extra items for your child, such as a (double) buggy, an extra high chair or camp bed, etc., we can take care of this. It is also possible to reserve a toy package for your child that is tailored to your child's interests and age. The Curacao holiday bag is a nice gift for your child to get acquainted with Curacao in a playful way
You have access to sufficient towels, including kitchen linen
A washing machine is also at your disposal
The use of WiFi is free, 400 MB fiber optic, the WiFi is also excellent at the pool. The television provides all Dutch channels, including Fox Sport and Ziggo Sport and you can watch up to 7 days ago
We live next to the holiday home and will welcome you upon arrival. Naturally, privacy is fully guaranteed for both. We are also your contact person during your stay

For each additional person there is an additional € 15.00 per night.

Additional information

The house is situated at the Saturnusstraat and is adjacent to the district Janwe/Salina. It is a neighborhood on the outskirts of the central part of Willemstad. The location is extremely convenient because you are in a few minutes on the Ring. The Ring is the main thoroughfare of Willemstad which brings you both soon in the center as all other areas of the city. From the Saturnusstraat you drive soon on the Caracasbaaiweg. This road runs almost parallel to the coast and through different exits you reach the famous beaches: Seaquarium and Mambo Beach, Jan Thiel Beach and Caracas Beach. In Salina center there is a mall with a variety of shops. In the neighborhood are living nice and friendly Antilleans with a remarkable number of people from the world of education. We have good contact with this people.

Location
The weather in Curacao is never really a conversation piece. The average daytime temperature is 28 degrees. The average night temperature is 25 degrees. There is usually a gentle northeast trade winds for coolness. Although steel blue skies prevented, there are often loose, passing clouds that causes rarely uncomfortably hot. The sun shines an average of 8 hours per day. Because Curacao is located near the equator, the sun goes down around 18.30 and comes up in the morning around 06.00. Seasons Curacao barely knows. The average rainfall is very low. Most rain falls during the period October to December but that just means that sometimes at night a short brisk rain falls and when it rains a lot during the day once it is after the short shower immediately agreeable. On Curacao people live outside, morning, afternoon, evening and night. You never need a jacket. The seawater has a temperature of around 25 degrees.

Climate
* Arches
The name "Arches" is used to the shops, restaurants and terraces to indicate which are located in the arches of the Waterford to Punda. De "Arches" is 5 minutes by car from the house.
* Christopher Park
In Christopher Park you can ride different routes, so you get a good idea of the beautiful and rugged landscape and the flora and fauna. You can also climb Mount Christoffel. On the grounds is an open terrarium with various reptiles including iguanas tame.
* Caves
On Curacao, ther are a number of caves by the sea arose. The most impressive cave is that of Hato. Beautiful stalactite and Indian drawings.
* Inlets
On Curacao there are some beautiful coves, named "Boca" (mouth). Definitely worth a visit are: Ascension Boca, Boca Tabla, Padiki Boca and Boca St. Marie.
* Klein Curacao
Southeast of Curacao is a small uninhabited island called Klein Curacao. It is about 2.5 km long and up to 750 m wide. Many seabirds breed on this island. A beuatiful place for diving and snorkling. A very beautiful underwater world with beautiful coral. Turtles come to meet you! Boat trips to the island.
* Country Houses
The houses are one of the main architectural attractions. Curacao has 93 houses. Some houses can be visited: Ascension, Chobolobo, Dokterstuin, Groot Santa Martha, Knip and Rooi Catootje.
* Ostrich Farm
The farm is open to the public. You can see the ostrich in its developmental stages watching chick egg to 80 years old.
* Tropical Garden (Parke Tropikal)
This is a botanical garden and a zoo. Watch your children in an interactive way to learn about nature and environment. In the zoo, children can feed the animals. This zoo presents a playground.
* Fish house
Marco's fish house is a fish nursery and has many kinds of activities to do. So you can admire the tropical fish and plants, but you can also swim with Tilapias. These fishes exfoliate the skin, as it were.
* Pastor Hòfi
Hòfi Pastor is known for its unique variety of vegetation, including the oldest tree in Curacao, the ceiba tree. The park is open daily for walk.

Here you will find all kinds of artifacts, maps, photographs, clothing and documents about the Protestantism of the Netherlands Antilles from 1635 to present.
* Museum Kura Hulanda
This is the museum with the collection of the best African Caribbean. The simulated environments and impressive collection pieces bring the African past close.
* Punda
Punda belongs with Otrobanda to the historic and vibrant heart of Willemstad. It is the Government Center, shopping and cultural center. You will find cozy streets and shops. Punda is situated on a peninsula surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, Anna Bay and the Waaigat.
* Otrobanda
Otrobanda literally means "other side". The Punda side of which was built in 1708 as Punda became cluttered. Otrobanda is a cozy network of alleys and fanciful passages, interrupted by plazas and courtyards or patios (kura). There are many historic buildings. A stroll through Historic Otrobanda is a journey through history.

Culture
The beaches in Curacao are one of the great attractions of the island. It is not difficult to find a bay. Public beaches with free access are: Grote Knip en Kleine Knip and Caracas Bay. Most of these beaches have no facilities. For private beaches with facilities you have to pay entrance fee: Blue Bay, Porto Marie, Daaibooi, Seaquarium, Mambo Beach, Kontiki, Kokomo Beach, Cabana Beach, Cas Abou and Jan Thiel.
