The Space: Our studio is called Studio Bista which means 'view' in Papiamento and there is no better way to describe this studio as it's all about the amazing view! From the terrace you look out over the ocean, the port where the cruise ships come in and even to the center of Punda.
The studio consists of a spacious private terrace and a room with:
- A comfortable double bed (1.40x2.00 meters), closet and sitting area;
- a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals;
- Shutters on all windows that allow you to cool down with the tropical breeze, or use the air conditioning and / or wall fan;
- A separate bathroom with sink, toilet and shower with hot water;
- A small safe to store your laptop, passport and other valuables;
- The kitchen is equipped with: pans, crockery & cutlery, four-burner gas stove, fridge / freezer, microwave, kettle and coffee maker;
- From the back window you look out on the communal terrace and the swimming pool.
Because the terrace and the swimming pool are located at the rear of the house, you can enjoy privacy and tranquility. Enjoy the sun on one of the sunbeds, take a cooling dip in the pool or grill your favorite BBQ meal on the BBQ (for common use).
There is one closed parking space which is for shared use with (potential) tenants of Apartment Chiki, the apartment below the studio. There is also ample free parking on the street.
Location: The studio is located on a hill on a cul-de-sac in the quiet 'Planterrust' district. The location offers privacy and a relaxed tropical feel, surrounded by sea views and lush greenery. Enjoy the birds singing and don't be surprised by a visit from an iguana or two.
The ideal thing about this location is that you can find your peace at home while you are still in a super strategic location on the island between the center, Piscadera and the road to Westpunt with its many beautiful beaches. There are restaurants, banks and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.
