Water & electricity

Water & electricity are relatively expensive on Curaçao. The stay is therefore exclusive.

Electricity: €0.50 per kWh

Water: €5.00 per m³

On arrival and departure, the meter readings are taken together with the manager. The actual consumption is calculated at the end of the stay.

Payment Terms:

When making a reservation, a deposit of 25% of the total rent is due. This deposit must be paid within 5 working days after making the reservation. The reservation becomes final as soon as the deposit has been received in full by us.

If the deposit is not received within this period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and make the relevant period available again.

The remaining amount must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks before arrival.

For a reservation made within 6 weeks before arrival, the full rent must be paid within 5 working days after making the reservation.

If a payment due is not received in time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and make the relevant period available again.

A payment is considered to have been received once the full amount due has been credited to our account.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation must always be done in writing by e-mail to the landlord. The following cancellation fees apply:

More than 90 days before arrival: free of charge
90 to 60 days before arrival: 25% of the rental price
59 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the rental price
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant decides on the arrival date or during the stay not to make any further use of the accommodation, the full rental price remains due. In the event of an early departure, no refund will be made for unused nights or parts of the stay.
