Most of our neighbors live there permanently.

Villa Salsa was built in 2008. From that time on, we lived on Curacao for a year with our 3 children (then 9, 4 and 1.5 years old). We ourselves come to Curacao twice a year for vacation. Arriving at Hato feels like coming home. All 5 of us are in love with this beautiful and cozy island. We now also have a company on Curacao (BOB Autowas). In 2022 our Villa will be completely renovated and modernized.

Villa Salsa is a beautiful holiday villa situated in a unique location. You can enjoy your own private pool and every evening a beautiful sunset and the lights of the island. The house has one floor, no stairs and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Under the house is a spacious 2-person apartment, as with many homes in Curacao, with its own kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. This makes the house ideal for a luxury holiday for example a family with grandparents, or even 2 families (the apartment has an extra sofa bed). But even for people without children, the house is very pleasant to verblijven.Brakkeput Abou, where Salsa villa is located, is a new residential area on the east side of downtown Willemstad. The large lots are built with luxurious villas, and the atmosphere in the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is only talk of traffic. The villa is located in Spanish waters and with 5-10 minutes away on Jan Thiel beach or Mambo Beach. Closer still is the public playa Caracasbaai that you see are from the villa. The old city center of Willemstad, you will find several restaurants within a 10 minutes away!

The living room has an open kitchen with all amenities, including: a double door American fridge with ice machine, 5 burner stove, oven / microwave, blender / food processor, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, Senseo, etc, etc . There is also in the living room a spacious seating area with a 42 inch flat screen LCD TVs and DVD players. Via satellite you can watch local stations, the Netherlands 1.2 and 3, BVN (Best of The Netherlands), CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Discovery, Disney and many other foreign channels. With the broadband internet facility Wifi is free and unlimited Skype calls and fast internet surfing. The house has both 110 V and 220 V. The spacious living room turns into the porch (= covered area) which is present along the entire house. Here you can enjoy delicious large sofas and chairs, but also relax in the 2 person hammock while listening to your own pool and enjoy the view overlooking the tropical garden. The porch is about in the pool with enough room to the poolside enjoying the sun loungers. The pool is separated from the porch by a well lockable gate. It has also built an additional pool shallow area for children.

Around the house is a beautiful garden (1000 m2) There are bougainvillea, all year round beautiful in bloom, like the ever-blooming "French flour". There are several fruit trees, so if you're lucky, during your holiday bananas and limes from the garden to eat. Of course, the palm trees, including the famous coconut palms. In the garden is a large cozy "palapa" hut (a large parasol of palm leaves) with a large dining table for 8 people. Besides there is a large palapa with a BBQ outside of granite countertops and bamboo. This way you can during your stay to enjoy the outdoors.
