Here the day starts quietly with coffee on the terrace, that fine Caribbean trade wind almost always blows and the swimming pool is never far away. Not a massive holiday park, but a relaxed place from where you can easily discover the island by car.

Colorful island living
The name says it all: Villa Yellow Banana can be cheerful. Fresh colors, tropical details and a casual interior immediately give the house that nice island feeling.
Inside you will find a spacious living room with air conditioning, a comfortable seating area and a separate TV corner. The open kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and plenty of kitchen and living inventory. This also makes the villa particularly comfortable for longer stays.
The property has two bedrooms, both with air conditioning. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two single beds. Extra pleasant: each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. This gives just a little more privacy when you are staying with two couples, friends or a family.
There is also a separate laundry room with washing machine.
Outdoor living as it is meant to be on Curaçao
On Curaçao, a large part of life takes place outdoors – and Villa Yellow Banana is completely equipped for that.
The house has its own garden and terrace and under the palapa you will find a lovely shaded area. A quiet breakfast in the morning, a break after the beach or sitting outside for a long time at the end of the day: you don't have to be in a hurry here.
To cool off, you can go to the communal swimming pool of Santa Catharina Resort. The swimming pool is located higher on the resort and offers a beautiful, panoramic view of the surroundings.

Villa Yellow Banana is located at Santa Catharina Resort in Banda Ariba, on the quiet east side of Curaçao and near the Sint Joris Bay. The resort is small-scale and is known for its space, tranquility and cooling trade winds.
With a rental car you can easily reach well-known places such as Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach and Willemstad, while you can also discover the rest of Curaçao from the villa.
It is precisely this combination that makes this location so pleasant: going to the beach during the day, snorkeling, discovering Willemstad or driving around the island – and then coming home to the tranquility of Santa Catharina.
