Rental conditions: Use of the villa The villa is only intended as a holiday home. You are expected to take into account the standards and values that apply to living in luxury residential areas on Curaçao. This means, among other things, that there should be no nuisance to local residents (in whatever form). Sunbathing naked or topless and/or holding parties, loud music or other gatherings where more than the number of people booked will be present (unless you have received prior written permission from the landlord or someone on his behalf). Drug use is not allowed at all and if an inspection shows that this is the case, the rental agreement will be terminated immediately. Diving and snorkeling equipment may not be cleaned in the kitchen, bathrooms or pool. If the excessive presence of sand in the pool and/or drains is found, the costs of cleaning and/or repair will be charged in full to the tenant. If in doubt, consult the landlord and/or manager in advance. Subletting or subletting is expressly prohibited. Stay of more people in a holiday home than agreed on the reservation, or than the maximum number that applies to that property, is expressly not permitted without our permission, and can lead to the premature termination of the rental agreement on our part, without refund of rent. Moving cupboards and beds, as well as sound or television equipment or taking any part of the indoor inventory outside - except of course crockery, glasses and cutlery for your meal outside - is expressly not allowed. Moving cupboards and beds, pillows, mattresses or bedding, as well as sound or television equipment or taking any part of the indoor inventory outside is expressly prohibited. The use of crockery, glasses, cutlery, etc. for use outside of the meal is allowed. Please remember to carefully close the doors and windows when you leave the holiday home in the meantime and when you leave. Before departure you must: Have done the dishes Have removed the beds (please leave the linen in the bathroom) Have emptied all rubbish bins Put the garden furniture (lounge set) under the covered terrace (please put the cushions inside!) Leave the house swept clean (please note also under the furniture and the beds) Do not leave food and other household items in the cupboards (these can hinder cleaning and attract vermin) The barbecue must be left clean. Report any breakage and or damage to the manager of the house. The landlord has the right to check and inspect the holiday home during the rental period. If the tenant, his family members, his guests or visitor(s) admitted by him do not or not properly comply with the obligations under the terms and conditions, the rules of conduct or government regulations, the instructions of the landlord/manager, despite any prior warning, and to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness, the landlord cannot be expected to continue the lease, the landlord or the administrator designated by him has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect, and the tenant and co-tenants deny access to the house, without refund of rent. This includes emphatically not respecting the night's rest or causing unnecessary nuisance! Damage and defects You are advised to inspect the holiday home and the inventory thoroughly on arrival for defects and shortcomings. If you notice damage or defects, you must report this immediately, within 24 hours after arrival, to the manager of the house. If the damage is caused by you and/or is not the result of normal use or wear and tear, we will charge you the repair or replacement costs. Liability We do not accept any liability for: Theft, loss, damage, accidents of any kind during or as a result of your stay in the villa of both the tenant and his/her companions. The failure or incapacitation of technical equipment, utilities and or facilities of the house. Calamities, in whatever form, that could make your stay unpleasant. The tenant is jointly and severally liable for all loss and/or damage to the holiday home, the garden and its furnishings (inside and outside), and/or property of the house, if this is the result of your act or negligence on your part or on the part of third parties who with your permission in and around h
