Villa Blue Curacao is a stylish holiday villa and is located on "Marbella Estate" a quiet and secure resort in the popular district of Jan Thiel. Marbella Estate is situated between two beautiful lagoons called Jan Thiel and the Spanish Water. These are one of the most beautiful locations on the island where you can swim, dive or just enjoy the beautiful nature. Our house offers everything for a wonderful tropical holiday for up to 6 people.

A road has been built from the Caracasbaaiweg that gives you access to the resort. Swim wonderfully in the communal swimming pool that is situated in the middle of the resort, directly opposite the holiday home. Discover the most beautiful beaches, the azure blue sea, dine at the tastiest restaurants and experience the most enjoyable happy hours. There is actually no reason not to go to Curacao.

The popular beaches (Jan Thiel Beach, Caracas Bay, Mambo beach) and various restaurants (including Zanzibar, Boathouse, Saint Tropez) are reachable within a few kilometers. Your vacation rental is your temporary 'home' and the owners of Blue Curacao have it too made to. You want to sit comfortably in the living room or relax under the palapa in the garden or on the porch, everything is at your disposal.

We are Jeffrey and Sandra and have been hooked on the island since 1997. We have been there with our oldest daughter in 1997 and 1998 lived on the beautiful island and has since gone back almost every year for vacation. In 2007 we built the house in the beautiful resort of Marbella Estate with the hope to go back ever again. Until then we are happy that others are able to stay in our home in the periods that we have not been there myself.

Location & area recommendations

Additional information

We assume that you use our villa properly, so that the next guests can also enjoy using it. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the villa. Any additional cleaning costs are at your expense. Electricity and water are precious on Curacao. We would like to ask you to use this sparingly. Please turn off the air conditioners if you are not using the bedrooms or if you have the windows open. The air conditioner only needs 15 minutes to cool the bedroom. You must carefully close it when you leave the villa. The villa is equipped with an alarm and you have access to an electronic hotel safe for your valuables. Included: - bed linen: all beds are made upon arrival. After 7 days a short cleaning will take place and the beds will be changed and you will receive new towels (compulsory change at € 45.00 after +/- 7 days) and tea-kitchen towels. In the meantime you can wash your towels and bed linen in the washing machine provided. The washing machine may also be used for your own clothes, ask the caretaker for an explanation before use. We would like to ask you to only use liquid detergent. The rental price is excluding electricity and water per week and including gas. You should assume that you use an average of 5 KHW per person per 24 hours. -Free internet (wireless), bring your own laptop. Not included: -Consumption of electricity (approx. 0.40 Eurocent per KWH) and water (€ 8.00 per m3). This is deducted from the deposit. The meter reading will be recorded in your presence at the beginning and end of your stay.-Beach towels included, 1 per person) -Mandatory interim cleaning of €45 per 7 days. These costs are deducted from the deposit - Final cleaning Euro 85.00. - Accommodation tax 7% of the rent. -The deposit is € 445.00. (including the first interim cleaning) The deposit will be refunded after deduction of any damage costs and consumption of electricity, water and intermediate cleaning and within 14 days after departure from the holiday villa.

Curacao has more than 35 public and private beaches that are all very varied. Whether you're a sun-seeker on holiday or a local on a day off, there's a wide choice between rocky coves or long sandy beaches. Most swimming beaches are scattered along the protected southwest coast. The water there is usually calm and crystal clear. The north coast with its strong surf and strong undertow is not suitable for swimming. Officially, topless bathing is prohibited on all public and some private beaches, but in some places it is allowed to turn a blind eye. Diving Curaçao is a true paradise for divers. Originally, Curaçao consists of volcanic limestone on which coral has been deposited for centuries. This can be seen quickly on the first dive. Along the coastline you can admire the most beautiful coral reefs. Due to the breathtaking underwater nature, diving is one of the most popular activities on Curaçao! In the waters of Curaçao you can find an abundance of marine fauna: multicolored parrotfish, silvery barracudas, spotted French cleavers, colorful butterflyfish... These are just a few species which you will find here, while coral and sea anemone colonies can be found close to the coast. If you've never snorkeled or dived before, now might be the time to learn. In any case, put on a mask and try to catch a glimpse of the wonderful world just below the surface of the water. It is advisable to snorkel with a partner or buddy (this is standard procedure for divers).
