Cozy modern, luxurious, privately located holiday home with lovely swimming pool, 800 meters walking distance from Jan Thiel Beach with its beautiful beaches, beach cafes, restaurants, happy hours, supermarket, gym, beach volleyball and diving school.

Big Green Egg, Nespresso with milk frother, American fridge with ice cubes, JBL box, made beds, towels for shower, swimming pool / beach, washing machine, free internet and a large enclosed garden including palm trees and beautiful bougainvillea.

This house is decorated differently than usual by combining design, weathered wood and cabinets made from parts of monumental buildings on the island. We used warm, gray tones, which goes well with a nice minimalism.

As a family of six, we were lucky enough to be able to take two one-year sabbaticals in paradise, on the sun-drenched island of Curaçao.

At the end of 'our year' we decided to share this lovely holiday home. This tropical house offers everything you could wish for. If you do want to go out, Curaçao has something for everyone.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

We use three different rates in 2026: 

  • Mid season per night: € 330,- and per week: € 2,310,-
  • High season per night: € 425,- and per week: € 2,975
  • Peak season per night: € 800 and per fortnight: € 11,200

Local tax 7%, final cleaning € 275 and intermediate cleaning with linen service € 150 after every 7th night* are added. 

* You pay for the first interim cleaning when booking. For stays longer than 14 nights, € 150 will be deducted from the deposit for each subsequent interim cleaning.

Electricity consumption includes up to 40 kWh per day, above that you pay € 0.55 per kWh.

Do you want a filled fridge on arrival? Transfer from the airport? A rental car? I'll be happy to arrange it for you!

The 2027 rates have also already been added to the calendar.

Of course, we assume that cancellation is not necessary, but in the unlikely event that it is, we would like to receive the cancellation in writing as soon as possible. Tip from me: arrange travel and cancellation insurance. This helped us enormously last May when we urgently had to return to the Netherlands.

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge

In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
